I am writing this review while still seated at the restaurant! We are from KC and on our way to Alabama for the holidays and stopped here for lunch not expecting anything special – BOY we were wrong!
This place is better than any Asian place we have been to in the city. We ordered 5 different things, and every single dish was top tier quality and taste!
I only feel compelled to leave raving reviews when it is truly a special experience, and this is absolutely no exception! When in Clinton, eat here!

Service was a little slow due to many takeout orders arriving for pickup. The orders taken inside were completed afterward. The food was worth the wait. Large portions and plenty of flavor. The servers checked on us frequently and kept our glasses filled.

I had the salmon hibachi, my friend had the chicken & shrimp hibachi. I also tried the California rolls & we also had crab rangoon. Now this place has new owners & I appreciate that they are adding flavor & seasonings to the food, it is not bland like the rest the restaurants. The hot & sour soup is superb with just the right amount of spice. The egg drop soup is delicious & you get that for free. I love both of the soups. Even with the transition of new owners the service was amazing. Restaurant was clean, it was peaceful & eye pleasing & the food was fresh. I definitely will be coming back & trying some more of their food, because I love the flavor that the cooks have put into this food. I am tired of the bland food in this area. This is my new go-to spot especially for their hot and sour soup and hibachi options

Update: They did expand the building giving a lot more room! The menu was also expanded and everything is well labeled and descriptions are given. Great staff all around. You also get free soups, cookies, popcorn, Wasabi Peas & shrimp chips with any entre purchase. A+

The food here is very good. Sushi was outstanding. We got the rock and roll, gyoza fried, and the Singapore Rice (no shrimp extra spicy). The starter soup, and ending almond cookie was a great surprise. Highly recommended if you are in Clinton.

This place has been on our radar to try, and today was the day. We were able to sit where we wanted and were thrilled to find vacant tables in spite of the moderately full parking lot. We were greeted right away and offered menus and asked for our drink order. We both ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice (pictured right). My husband got a Dr. Pepper. The meal comes with all you care yo eat egg drop or hot and sour soup. They also offered complimentary toppings for the soup and sugar cookies. The servings were large, and everything was delicious. We both got boxes to take at least half of our meal home. I purposely saved room for dessert and ordered the cheese cake tempura (pictured left). Again, Y-U-M. My husband and I shared it and enjoyed every bite.
Asianfy is closed on Tuesdays, but open for lunch and dinner the remaining days of the week.
With tip, our meal was $41.00, but well worth it. The service was great. It is obvious that there are “regulars” who have developed rapport with the servers. I love to see that! We will get at least another full meal out of it–and also have zero cooking to do and minimal dishes to wash afterward.

Absolutely fantastic Asian food! The fresh vegetables in my scallop and shrimp hibachi were straight out of the garden behind the restaurant! Generous portions, big juicy shrimp and scallops! Best restaurant in Clinton and would be competitive in any city. A local gem.
