1 Star wish I could give ZERROOO Absolutely Disgusting and Unprofessional! IN THE PROCESS OF BE SUING THEM AFTER I GOT FOOD POISONING AND HAVE THE DOCUMENTS FROM THE HOSPITAL we also asked for no onions because we’re allergic to it and they still put onions
This place is a COMPLETE JOKE. I used to order from Salem’s all the time but they’ve gone straight downhill. The food they gave me looked and tasted like leftovers that had been sitting out all day old, greasy, and just nasty. After eating it, I got food poisoning and was sick the entire night.
When I called corporate to report it, they told me they couldn’t give me a refund unless I brought the food back even though I had already thrown it away because it was disgusting! They literally said, “Go get it from the trash.” I even had video proof of how bad the food was and they still refused to take responsibility.
It’s unbelievable how poorly they treat loyal customers. The management clearly doesn’t care about quality or safety. Corporate is just as bad as the restaurant completely unprofessional and careless. I’ll never order from them again. Save your time your money and your health avoid Salem’s at all costs!

Salem’s never disappoints. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything came out hot and exactly the way we ordered it, and you can really tell they care about quality.
What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Amia. Her customer service was outstanding from start to finish. She was welcoming, attentive, patient, and made sure everything was perfect without us even having to ask. Her positive energy and professionalism made the whole visit feel special.
Great food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. Huge shoutout to Amia for going above and beyond—we’ll definitely be back!

Hate to leave this review, but I haven’t heard back at all from their corporate office. Pics included are of a screw I bit into from a burger I ordered.
The gentleman manning the orders was very nice and helpful when placing the order, and the food was quite good otherwise (especially for the prices/specials). That said, biting into a screw isn’t fun. Eaters beware!

Good afternoon This Kimmy or Kim which ever name I order under lol ! I don’t know what kind of magic was happening in that kitchen today, but this was hands down the best fish sandwich I’ve had from this place in a LONG time. When I say I ate every crumb, please believe there was nothing left but the container—and I ate it hot, fresh, and with no regrets. I even ate in my car lol. Well one made me wish I ordered everything I wanted I just wasn’t sure if I would have been happy lol.
The sandwich was so good I kept calling Salem’s like, “Hello… it’s me again… I just had to say THANK YOU.” The seasoning? On point. The crispiness? Chef’s kiss. Exactly how I like it. My stomach is full and my heart is healed—that’s how good it was.
I had to ask who cooked it and what his hours were because I need this level of excellence every single time. No shade to the other cooks, but if you want your food cooked like somebody cares deeply about your happiness, go when Gerson is working.

Salems fell off. The gyro was so bad. I won’t be back. My mouth is burning 30 minutes later like soap. After just 1 piece of meat I knew it wasn’t right and luckily I tossed it. Some people only have $20 to eat and you serve them garbage and now they have to starve. I can’t trust you again. Bye

We are in town to visit friends and saw this place next-door to our Airbnb. We love hole in the wall spots like this because they always have great food. We ordered the fried shrimp meal and the Philly cheesesteak meal. Both were cooked very well and had great flavor. It was good enough to go back before we head home on Sunday!

I visited Salem’s for the first time last week while I was in Tampa, and I was seriously impressed. The food was amazing and fresh, flavorful, and definitely exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the customer service was on point. The cashier was so friendly and helpful that I had to ask her name…. Amia. She truly made the experience even better. oh man, where do i begin.
i just got out of a hospital, and the first place i decide to go to is Salems. after eating crappy hospital food, and coming to this place- the service, the food, the atmosphere, it smelt and looked wonderful!! the employees were really sweet to me and my mom, and it made me happy because the staff st the hospital treated me really poorly. the combination of having good food with good service just made my day right.

Salems fresh eats located on E Hillsborough Ave, I will always love the employees attitude through out my visit. As the restaurant started filling up more n more, the employees especially the manager handles it with a smile and ease through out my visit.
