My wife, 14 year old son, and my 5 year old daughter got up extra early to sit down and eat at the donut shop. My wife and son both enjoy donuts however my daughter does not eat donuts. Even though my daughter dont eat donuts, my wife purchased her one so she wouldn’t feel left out. My wife brought my daughter an order of pancakes from McDonald’s to eat for breakfast. After their order was taken, a lady came out from the back and said to my wife,” I know we do not have our sign up yet, we dont allow other food to be brought in from outside.” My wife explained to her the situation about how my daughter doesnt eat donuts but she did order her one so she wouldn’t feel left out. The owner ignored her and continued to hold firm about what she said. It hurt my daughter’s feelings as she loves to dine in at restaurants. I can understand asking a adult to not bring in outside food but when its for a small child, I believe an exception could have been made.

Edit: I decreased my rating from 2 stars to 1 star due to the owner lying in their response to my review. My timeline shows that I arrived at 5:22am. The donuts I received were infact NOT recently cooked. I can’t prove that they were recently removed from a refrigerator, but I can tell you they were below room temperature even after my 15-minute drive home. I buy donuts frequently for my son, so I know what a donut tastes like when stored in the display case. My donuts were COLD!
Everything was good except for the fact that I wanted my son to experience the glorious feeling of eating a freshly cooked donut that is still warm and fluffy. We arrived shortly after Better Batter Sisters opened. My dream of warm fresh donuts was crushed when I realized everything was straight out of a refrigerator. Cold donuts totally defeat the purpose of getting up early. I won’t be back.

Absolutely amazing everytime the bulvarian cream filling in the eclairs is perfect everyone is so sweet and welcoming and the food is perfection. i have to pay the .50 cents for under 10$ but i would come back here everytime no matter what the fee was

Such a sweet little place. Stopped in for lunch and some sweets during the school day and was in and out in a matter of just a couple minutes. Incredibly affordable and filling. Such nice folks, too. Can’t wait to go back!
