This was the first time I ever came to this place. The food is legit and I will definitely be coming back. The tri-tip was my favorite. Very tender moist and delicious. Customer service was excellent which just added it to the excellent experience that I had at the establishment.

Let me begin by saying the service was excellent Very kind, friendly, and helpful.
The fried catfish was pretty flavorful, tasted nice and fresh too.
Found the Mac and cheese disappointing. Kinda on the stale side. And it just didn’t taste right either. I did not like it.
The collard greens were tender and very colorful. But they tasted nothing like the seasoned yummy collards I am accustomed to eating.
Good corn bread though. Not great but good enough.
Will visit Charley Rokk’s again in the near future. I believe it’s a work in progress with fantastic potential.

Just recently discovered this place which is across the street from where I live, the food is amazing the Mac and cheese is to die for, the hot links are delicious and the brisket and ribs are also amazing, the lady who took our order is so nice and sweet. Also the cheesecake and banana pudding is so good! Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!

Honest Review:
Meat fell off the bone in the chicken. Pulled pork was tender but honestly the BBQ sauce and seasonings was missing just a little something extra. But not bad. I just needed some hot sauce maybe.
Cornbread was too dry but not awful.
Fried Ocra was amazing! Crispy and hearty and not too salty.
Mac and cheese was to DIE for. Its got a little spice there I havent had before in a mac and cheese and so it was unique and so very good.
Sweet Potato Pie was holey moley delicious! I almost cried.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE. FOOD QUALITY. TIME. AND PRICES!!!! This family run business is second to NONE!!! I drive 11 miles each day to have them take care of me. Honest review… not impressed for 65 dollars and some change. Got 2 sampler plates and a rib plate. The meat was decent. The beans were not cooked all the way, the corn was freezer corn mushy, nasty taste. The coleslaw was semi good, the cornbread was straight dirt. The cornbread was like eating sand, imagine that, old and stale. All in all I hate to give this type of review but for the price I paid for this meal it was not worth it at all. It’s a small mom and pop shop but in order to survive they need to get with the game and serve better quality food, better service, better all around experience. It’s a no go for me. I will not return.
