Not a bad place to go! The bands they pick to play are always great. Prices aren’t outrageous. Good friendly atmosphere- no one in that bar stays a stranger for long! Sometimes you have patrons that should have been sent home while ago- but that’s just bar life so I don’t see why so many people have complained.
I had my few drinks which were made perfect EVERY time, and the bartender is an inviting character that shows great passion and an immense work ethic for his job.
The decor is great- eclectic, “happening” yet warm, familiar; a look anyone local or touring here can appreciate with a sense of being back home in a small town.
Owner is very kind woman who clearly has put a lot of work into the team she has selected for her Bar and Coffee shop! All around a great place to stop and have a few to warm up in the upcoming winter cold. Lovely, friendly and safe.

Great little bar. Very eclectic and cool. About to open a big outdoor area. We will be back!!! Still coming back to this great bar after 5 years and living 6 hours away, always great people and a fun time.

We came for the Yo Yo Ma concert and the after party with the Louisville Orchestra and production staff. The Dive has a huge outdoor music venue and the band was Ahhhhhhhhmazing! The staff was great and the specialty cocktail menu for the night was on clever…The YoYo Margarita had lavender and fresh lime, not something you would expect from a dive bar. Inside was a DJ so we jumped back and forth all night. It felt like two bars in one. Can’t believe something like this exists in this town.

When i say 5 stars for food i mean DRINKS.. LOL, great vibe, great service. Love how this place is decked out, too. We were there for a car show and the bar was open at 8 am. Heck yeahh!!
