I regret not discovering this establishment earlier. Tucked discreetly at the rear of the parking lot, this hidden gem benefits from a centrally located site and ample parking, rendering it exceptionally accessible. The proprietor exhibits remarkable kindness and attentiveness, with an admirable eye for detail. The menu offers commendable variety, and the majority of dishes are maintained at optimal freshness and temperature. The baklava provides a delightful conclusion to the dining experience.I shall undoubtedly return on my next visit to Dallas.

This restaurant (and type of food) was my first to try buffet style. It did not disappoint. The food was varied and unique for an American palate. I’m a fan of hummus, and the avocado flavored one was exceptional. The various rice options was a surprise as I tried all of them and recommend the beef flavored one. The most interesting drink was a rose flavor which was unique to me as having lived in China where I had rose tea and rose mooncakes. The service was not necessarily friendly, but all were extremely polite. The clientel is heavily Middle Eastern, so if you’re identifiably American, expect to be starred at as my group of four were. Lastly, try this experience…you won’t regret it! The weekend buffet was around $25/person.

It was a good experience for buffet dinner, but they are a little expensive specially on weekends. As we couldn’t manage during weekdays, it was our loss. But anyway, coming to the food, I am giving it a 4 star cause being a Bangladeshi, I eat a lot more spicy & thicker foods. But this was also good, specially the rice with the chicken. Also, they had Gyro meat, lamb shank (which you have to ask for separately), different types of salads & sauce, chicken & beef kebabs, fish fry, eggplant & cauliflower fries etc.
They have few desserts but loved the rice pudding & cake

Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet in Plano is a great spot for fans of Mediterranean cuisine! There’s a wide variety of dishes , everything fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is bright and pleasant ☀️. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the dining area is clean and cozy . Calm background music adds to a relaxing vibe. Overall, everything was really good, but one salad had too much vinegar, which slightly affected my experience. Everything else was excellent: hot dishes , appetizers , and desserts were all flavorful and well-balanced. I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys fresh and diverse food!

Huge selection of salads, vegetables and meal dishes. Fresh bread and pizzas were great but really need better deserts. Baklava was little dry for my taste. Overall best bang for your bucks when it comes to buffet style food.

Oh that was our first time and I truly loved the food. Super yummy with variety of choices for any taste. You pay upfront and then serve yourself. Please try cinnamon tea with baklava at the end of your meal. My little one also loved the food. Thank you 🙂

I recently visited this place and had a decent overall experience. The highlight was definitely the variety the buffet spread as it was quite wide offering a good selection of classic Mediterranean dishes. From fresh salads to hummus, grilled items, rice dishes, and a few traditional sweets there was something for everyone.

While the selection was impressive, the food itself was decent. Some dishes stood out more than others the hummus was creamy and well-seasoned and the salads were fresh and crisp. However, a few of the hot dishes lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for and some items felt a bit overcooked or under-seasoned. The desserts were a nice touch especially if you have a sweet tooth.

The restaurant was clean and well-organized. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for a casual meal with a variety of options especially if you’re dining with a group that likes to sample different things. It’s a decent place to enjoy a diverse and filling buffet at a reasonable price.

So worth the money!!! The food is fresh and delicious. They have a HUGE selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The falafel is absolutely delicious- it crumbles in your month and isn’t dry like other restaurants. They have a lot of humus options and meats but I didn’t try the latter. The soda is crisp and the rose water is very yummy too. The whole meal is so healthy and filling. We pigged out. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

While the ambiance isn’t particularly impressive or inviting, the food more than makes up for it. Portions are generous, and everything was well-seasoned. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, so there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend the lamb shank (one per person) — it’s incredibly tender and flavorful. The hummus is creamy and balanced, and don’t miss the warm baby pitas they serve alongside. Just delicious. ious

I regret choosing this place for Iftar.
It was a Sunday evening and my first visit, and while the restaurant was crowded, management seemed unprepared and made little effort to help guests break their fast comfortably.
Worse part; they charged adults $25.99 each and kids $10.99 each for Ramadan, which was higher than their normal weekend dinner rate and there was nothing noticeably special for the extra dollars.
Ramadan is a season of celebration and kindness. Most halal restaurants I’ve visited during iftar take extra care of their fasting guests, which made this experience feel unwelcome.
Food? Wasn’t bad. Loved their kebabs but that was the only thing we enjoyed. Other meats were average at best. I ask myself whether the buffet experience was worth the price? Unfortunately, I don’t see myself or my family going there again.
