After many years of planning, Sabor MX officially opened on February 2015. Five years later, in 2020, they reinvented their menu and changed their name to Sabor Cocina Latina & Bar. In 2023, Sabor Cocina moved to a new location in North Fresno. They serve a modern take on dishes and cocktails from Central and South America. The new location has an inviting fresh atmosphere and showcases one-of-a-kind interior design and a hand painted mural from a local artist. Their new menu includes a variety of new dishes and cocktails with something special for everyone.

We had a really great experience here. Came for dinner and the staff were very friendly and sweet. Ordered guac, tuna ceviche, and chicken enchiladas. Food came quick and had great presentation. Flavor was spot on. No guac was wasted. A little pricey but honestly worth every penny. Highly recommend this place.

This place was a great find, everything started well from the moment we got in. Our waitress Erika was amazing, we never ran out of drinks and she was definitely on top of things. The food was also tasty and delicious, that’s where the name comes from Sabor! Everything seasoned right and when we don’t need salt or pepper on the table that says a lot. Overall I definitely will come back and try new stuff from the menu.

Restaurant was beautiful from the inside (minus the dead plant).
I wish there were more protein options for savory items like the omelette, chilaquiles and chile relleno. The day we went some items were not being served from the menu (eg. birria).
Waffles were petite.
French toast was delicious.
Pancakes tacos with fruit were good.
Chilaquiles (green) only came with one egg and lacked salsa/ flavor. I wish they had more options when asking for salsa.
Host was kind to take our group picture up front.

The waitresses were friendly, there were a couple of things on the menu that they didn’t happen to have that day. I will definitely visit again though. The mango juice was good but I am not sure if it was fully fresh. The chilaquiles were top three for Fresno and the atmosphere is various aesthetic and fun to be in. We came for brunch but I will definitely come back for dinner and drinks.

What a great place for brunch! I gathered with some friends and had a delicious meal. It was packed. I recommend making reservations. My favorite is the guacamole, but I did not enjoy paying that much money for it, Yikes! The ribeye steak has a very unique sauce. Make sure you do your homework before ordering it or get it with no sauce. Drinks were perfect.

Highly recommend trying the fish tacos, ceviche, and chile relleno – all were delicious! It’s conveniently located just minutes away from shopping, which makes it the perfect stop. We loved stopping by and will definitely be back on our next shopping trip to Fresno, CA!

I originally posted my 5 star rating in 2017. Now they’ve moved to north Fresno and they’re even better. Such fresh and interesting choices. Not the typical Fresno strip mall bean and rice type of place. Come here expecting something interesting. Have fun, and leave happy!
