Great food, fast service and inviting atmosphere on a busy Christmas shopping weekend. Glad we stopped here for dinner. We really enjoyed our burgers and drinks. Well staffed, we were told 15 minute wait time but were called in within 5 min and served quickly within 10 min. My burger and fries were so good after walking around for several hours of shopping, we were starving. If wife was happy I’m happy.

If you like diners and the food that comes along with it, you will love this place. Big portions, we had the chillidog and the BLT with avocado. Comes with fries but we “upgraded” with onionrings aswell. Ordered shakes (very good!) and you get the extra can on the side with additional stuff to fill up with more. Pricewise this comes along as value for money to me, especially for being LA. I recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I came to the Citadel to do some quick pickup shopping, when I caught a whiff of the food from the diner and decided a burger sounded good. We had our dog with us so the hostess (I forget her name, she was great though) politely accommodated us on their covered patio.
Our server, Angel R., was so friendly & hospitable. Not only was his service quick and personable, we received our drinks and food so quickly. He even brought our dog a small cup of water! The food was very fresh, hot, and tasty. This was our first time here, and it definitely won’t be our last.

Had a great breakfast at Ruby’s Diner! The highlight of our meal was definitely the beignets—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. They were the perfect treat to start the day!
We also ordered the veggie omelette, which was not only tasty but came in a generous portion—definitely enough to satisfy a big appetite. Everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful.
The only downside was the limited menu options for vegetarians and those who don’t eat pork. While what we had was good, a bit more variety would have been appreciated. That said, the food, service, and atmosphere were great, and we’d happily come back!

Alicia the manager and staff are very friendly, welcoming, they provide excellent service. Very accommodating for families with special needs kids. Clean setting. Food is always on point. Went to Ruby’s Diner and had a really good time. I got the Double Deluxe burger—it was only 10 bucks and honestly a great deal for a solid diner burger. Classic comfort food, hit the spot.
Service was awesome. The waiter was super friendly and the food came out quick. Only little mix-up was I ordered a vanilla milkshake and got a strawberry instead, but I didn’t really mind.
I’d definitely go back. Good food, good vibe, no complaints.

Delicious and so gorgeous inside. These kinds of diners aesthetically wise need a comeback. Chili cheese fries with green onions is not something I knew I needed till now. Everything is just excellent, like you can’t come here without smiling at least ONCE. Fries and coffee in a retro looking diner, hello? Delicious, order their chili, cheeseburgers, whatever, I promise its worth‼️
