This place is absolutely wonderful!!!! Owner and staff are beautiful and very friendly. They make you feel like family. The food is amazing and Friday shrimp dinner are the best shrimp I’ve had besides fresh in New Orleans. Good portions for your money. I’ve never been disappointed with anything at this restaurant.

Great locally owned family restaurant in Fort Atkinson. American style dining with a large menu. The restaurant serves both breakfest, lunch and dinner all throughout the week. The waiting staff is exceptional and very friendly. Give it a try and you will not regret it!

The owner was very aggressive and rude. I wanted to place a to-go order in the middle of my dinner service to be ready for me when I go. I do this so my elderly mom can also enjoy a nice meal as she cannot come to the restaurants with us anymore. The waitress had to ask for permission for this request (never had this happen before) and the owner then came over with a hostile no. No questions, no wanting to get to know me who is paying for their establishment to be open. Okay….never coming here again. Wanted some good diner food but I can definitely find someplace cleaner with nicer people.

Went here today for a late lunch with my husband, We were amazed at the price for the quality and amount of food that they served us! I ordered beef stir fry for $11.99 there is so much steak on it ❤️ This family restaurant deserves a and will come back here again with a high recommendation!

The hostess with dark hair was so, so, so unfriendly. She literally had a scowl on her face the whole time we were there. She rolled her eyes and was impatient. Gratefully our waitress snd food made up for her crappy attitude.

We come here every other weekend, sometimes on Saturday, sometimes on Sunday, sometimes Both. They have very fast service, very polite staff, this is just a Great place to go to. Best Skillets and Pancakes too! Highly Recommend.

Recently I’ve been focusing on better eating and we sold our Lakehouse of 28 years. I decided to have one last visit and to enjoy the Mexican Skillet that I’ve had every time I visit. I asked to substitute fruit for bread and was told that it can’t be done. I accepted the answer and ordered the fruit anyway. One cup of coffee was poured during my meal and then upon finishing I was asked if I’d like another cup of coffee. I responded yes and asked for a to-go-cup. That showed up as an extra charge on the bill. I then asked to speak with the owner and he indicated that truckers come in with their big cups so rules are rules. I explained that I’m not a trucker and that I did not bring in any cups. I asked if he would consider removing that “extra” charge from my $15.99 bill. He declined. As a business owner who took the time to speak softly and inquire about the extra charges, one would have thought he’d want to retain a customer. Not this owner. IMO, don’t bother dealing with people who do not see logic nor loyalty! He’s not the only restaurant in town. I’ll be sure to take my business else where and voice my unpleasant experience to ALL. Bad move sir…
