From the moment we arrived, the ambience and hospitality were exceptional. The service was attentive, warm, and professional—absolutely top-notch.
We enjoyed some of the finest wine and an incredible dinner. While I may not be an expert on the specifics of the dishes, the combination of the perfect wine and the best location in Paris made everything delightful. The wine flowed effortlessly, complementing the superb atmosphere.
Highly, highly recommend for a special occasion or anyone looking for the ultimate Parisian dining experience!
To get there, you can walk from the nearby metro stations around the Eiffel Tower, or use the underground parking located directly below the restaurant. It’s located above the museum building, so access is very easy and convenient.
Despite being seated first, we waited nearly 20 minutes just to receive menus, while guests who arrived after us had already ordered and were being served. It felt like neglect – if not discriminatory and borderline racist.
We had chosen this restaurant specifically because the menu included a chicken option, as we do not eat red meat or seafood. The restaurant changed the menu that very day, replacing the chicken with duck. I tried it and found it completely unpalatable. They did offer a vegetarian alternative, but it was undercooked and tasted poor.
We paid €12 extra for the lobster which had 2 tiny pieces of stale tasting lobster amongst a lettuce salad that was not even salted.
The food quality overall was subpar for such an expensive meal; the cocktails were the only redeeming part of the experience.
Overall, we were extremely disappointed and truly disliked the entire experience.
For me it wasn’t private atmosphere which is fine dining usually providing for their customers. In total I can’t call this place as a “Fine Dining” restaurant. To get my menu you need to wait, when you want to change your table because you see almost full room of empty tables they providing only one option. People never know where’s their table before they come but last seat with a clear view was taken 1-1,5 hours after we asked for the table. To continue topic of Fine Dining as a customer my glass should be always full by any liquid but I refreshed my water glass by my own, asked for a bread by my own. Table which is was next to us also refill their glasses by their own. We were hungry and our first dish arrived only 1 hour after. At least cocktails were tasty and served fast.
Our expectations wasn’t approved by price and quality. Food wasn’t that tasty as expected. So I would say money I payed it’s just to see the Eiffel Tower without crowd. Thank you for this perfect balcony to make some clear pictures with the tower on the background.
In conclusion: get more stuff to provide people “Fine Dining” service, first come first serve as a table placement with a clear view, work on taste of the dishes.
The cheeses were good, but after trying the apple cake I think I would’ve gotten that instead bc it was absolutely delicious. Everything was great honestly. I also had an Old Fashioned, I would get 5 more any day of the week. Thanks for everything Shiva and Les Ombres!
