We stopped at this Olive Garden (1711 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN 37115) during our trip from Independence, IA to Jacksonville, FL to rest after about 9 hours of driving—with another long stretch ahead tomorrow—and I’m so glad we chose this location.
When we first walked in, we were greeted, but we overheard a server who didn’t seem like they wanted to take our table, and honestly it gave us a little doubt about how the experience might go. But Manager Dominique immediately stepped in and completely turned things around. Dominique was professional, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of right away.
Huge shoutout to our server Lisa as well—she was wonderful. Friendly, patient, and on top of everything, she made us feel welcome and helped us relax and recharge after a long day on the road. Our food came out great, the service was smooth, and the whole visit ended up being exactly what we needed.
Thank you, Dominique and Lisa, for turning a moment of uncertainty into a truly great experience. We really appreciate you both!

I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious as usual. I brought home Chocolate Lasagna for dessert. It’s chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, crumbled wafers and a chocolate side! It was a great service. Waiter was very good and service was fast.

Our server, Shanta, was so welcoming and accommodating. My brother and I really enjoyed the food. She offered us dessert and kept checking on us. She’s a 5-star server that has a great attitude. We will be back and ask for her!!!

I understand that waiters get busy, but we were ignored for about 20 minutes with every glass on the table empty. The food was good, but the service was not. When somebody orders the unlimited soup and salad, attention needs to be paid to make sure that the soup and salad are not empty. It had been a while since I had eaten at Olive Garden. The food is still the same, but I guess it’s a sign of the times that service has dropped.

We stopped at this spot a few weeks ago and it was such a wonderful visit! The outside of the restaurant is very pretty, lots of flowers and well cut grass (I always appreciate a nice-looking restaurant from outside). We went around noon and had some concerns with waiting time, as in the past, we’ve had 15-20 minute wait times before seating. However, as soon as we came in, we were placed at a table. The environment was super nice and chill with a nice view of the outside from the windows. Although our table was nice and clean, I did notice a grape around my seat, so their cleanliness could use some work. Our waiter was super nice and energetic. They got our order put in with no problems. My only issue was that our waiter was not as attentive as I would’ve liked. We were getting our side salads before our water, which had never happened before. Our food made up for it all, however. The side salad was so good. I’m not sure what they put in their salads, but it just always hits home. The veggies were nice and fresh, adding a nice crunch with the croutons. But what brought it together was the nice and tangy dressing. The pasta was even better. I ordered the alfredo that came with garlic bread, and I loved every bite of both. The noodles were cooked to perfection, my chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the sauce was amazing. You can tell the cooks put actual effort into this meal. The food alone makes this visit worth it, and I would most certainly return to this Olive Garden.

Lisa was an absolute sweetheart with the best customer service we have seen in a long time anywhere! We will definitely be back . We came on Valentine’s Day at opening time. She opened the door told us HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY ,welcomed us to the restaurant, took us to our table, helped us with details on the menu and made sure we had refills on drinks, salad was topped off and our food was pleasing ! We spent the morning at a Dr appointment and went by our Olive Garden for lunch and we are so glad we did! Our server, Alyssa, was incredible! She treated us like family…I told her when we paid the check we wanted to stay and visit with her longer! Soup, mozzarella sticks and breadsticks were great! Chicken parm was a little tough. But our server was FANTASTIC! Shanta F., she was so attentive to our table, as well as her other customers. Very refreshing to experience someone in the restaurant industry that seems to enjoy their job, and make total strangers feel like family.

Went tonight and was greeted by sweet girls. Then this lady that worked there, idk her name but had grey wig, reprimanded one of them in front of everyone by the host stand. It was so inappropriate and I got second hand embarrassment. It would have been so different if she pulled her aside or asked her nicely to stay in her position but put her down and made her feel dumb and small not only in front of her coworkers but also in front of guests. Awful to watch, will not support that. Gross.
