Very cool ambiance and decor going on inside. Gave off an authentic Mexican / Californian vibe. We did take-out so I only enjoyed the atmosphere as I waited for my food. For $60 we got an order of Quesabirrias, Mixta Birria, and a Chicken Quesadilla along with a Horchata and Harritos drink. Definitely falls within that $10-$20 range but I would say it’s at the higher end of that. All orders came in 3’s and everything was filled to the brim. These tacos / quesadillas / mulitas were everything but light. They were some hefty tacos, packed with meat so you get your money’s worth. If you don’t eat much, I wouldn’t be surprised if you split 1 order between 2 people. The Quesabirrias and Mulitas were definitely enjoyed the most. The birria dipping sauce had a good flavor. If you can’t handle spice at all, keep in mind the birria does have a very slight little kick to it. If you enjoy Birria Tacos, definitely a must visit.

I placed an order in the store. I asked for chicken chimichanga. I asked what it came with and she said rice beans and salad. I asked if they had birria and she said yes. I order birria tacos. I get home.. the chimichanga was not fried, just with sliced cheese on top, raw peppers inside. No rice or beans. My birria tacos came with no consume. I called to ask about the consume and rice/beans. She said birria doesn’t come with the consume there, they don’t have it.. I asked how they make it if they don’t have it. She said that’s just how they do it. They offered to give rice and beans if I came back.

Very limited menu but everything was delicious. Just beef but done to perfection. Birra pizza is worth a try. Definitely big enough to split.

I love Los Barbados Birria!! I’ve been to the other locations and was so happy to see a new one here in Manahawkin! Best place for birria. Everyone is very nice and service was fast!! Got the birria pizza to share and the strawberry horchata (so so good)
