Very affordable and great tasting food. We got the ribs, brisket, yams, collard greens, cole slaw, and mac & cheese. The meat was so tender and veggies were cooked perfectly. The mac & cheese was cooked perfectly and had nice crispy cheese bits too. We also got the peach cobbler and it was very tasty as well. We’ll definitely be going again!

Happy to have some delicious bbq around the corner! Everything was so flavorful, especially the meat (and tender!). And that Mac n cheese is something else, the Mac wasn’t overcooked at all and the cheese was giving toasty grilled cheese vibes. We will definitely be back!!

The service is great and the vibe is very much what I’d expect for southern comfort food, but the meal left a lot to be desired. I’ve never had brisket that my fork couldn’t easily pierce or that took so much effort to chew. The hot links had more of a consistency like hotdogs than a typical sausage link I’m used to in bbq. The yams were classic and good, though a bit too watery for me. And the beans were out of the can beans. The hot bbq sauce had 0 kick to it, so I’m not sure if they just gave me the wrong one or not. The cornbread was standard cornbread, but could have been more moist. Definitely not worth the $30 I paid, but at least the portions were more substantial than other bbq I’ve had here in the PNW. Maybe today was an off day for the food, but however they cook their brisket is not a southern style I’m familiar with, speaking as a Texan.

Wow! I normally don’t take time to post a review. But I have to this time. The food is sooo delicious. I love it, recommend it, and I’m definitely coming back. I tried the slice beef, greens, beans, and cornbread. The beef is tender and juicy. Great food. Reminded me of home, Atlanta, GA.

First time at Emma’s BBQ today and decided to stop by after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint! Right when I walked in, I was greeted and felt at home. Great customer service! I got the beef brisket dinner with Mac and cheese, potato salad, cornbread and also the blackberry lemonade. Everything I had was so flavorful and can’t wait to come back again!

Edit: They now charge an extra $5 for a Mac and cheese only side. They advertise any 2 sides. I will not be going back for a while.
Got takeout brisket and ribs with a side of Mac and Cheese. Definitely enough for leftovers. My only complaint is that the mild sauce was a little too sweet for my taste.

Ordered the sliced brisket dinner. The brisket was sliced with the grain, which made it quite chewy. Looks like other pics of the same are sliced properly though, so this was likely a one off. The flavor was good overall but the mac and cheese was pretty stale.

I came here trying to figure out what happened. The brisket I had was like rubber. Good flavor but just nothing like I’ve ever had. It needs to be served with a steak knife. How any reviewer could say it fell off the bone is so confusing. I don’t know if I just got a rough and inconsistent batch or what, but this was not something I want to repeat.
