Tried this newly opened Latin restaurant at the Katy Asian Market near the park-and-ride and loved it. Modern decor, lots of seating, and huge lunch portions, we couldn’t even finish our meals and had to take leftovers home. We ordered the chicken and beef fajitas, chimichangas, and chicken enchiladas, and everything was delicious. The chicken was super tender and the beef was full of flavor. Great value lunch specials too. Everything was perfect, we’ll definitely be back, check more details for pictures!

So glad we gave this place a chance after reading the reviews while we were in town for the night.
The staff were amazing from moment we walked in the door and the food was fantastic. We are very picky in regards to food but everything we tried was fresh and top notch. This would be a regular spot for us if we lived in the area and we will definitely seek out one of their locations when in Texas.

Had a great experience here the other night for a business dinner. I ordered the shrimp brochette and they were delicious. Their charro beans are the best ever omg I loved them. Good flavor and texture on the beans. I also had the dreamsicle Rita and it was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. We got there just before 5pm and it filled up quickly thereafter

We had 10 in our group. Service was excellent, very attentive. Food was well presented and quite good. Silver patron margaritas were good but a little too much ice. We had Presidente, chicken enchiladas suizas, quesadillas, Veracruz, and a fajita bowl.

Gringo’s just does Tex Mex RIGHT. Everything hits the spot for me like the food, the service, the vibe inside. I love love love it here sm.
Free chips and salsa to start off which are fire. Red salsa has a nice kick and the green crema is actual crack. Gotta ask for 2 right off the bat because mmmmm. Also got their queso which is pretty good, not gonna complain there.
For the main I got the Zapata plate which comes with a few things. First they bring out a crunchy beef taco and a “queso chip” which is a large chip with some queso spread on it which I find is good to use as a clean up for what falls out of the taco while you eat that first. Taco is pretty standard but they do not skimp on the meat which is nice. Then comes the cheese enchiladas with mexican rice and refried beans. Flavor this good should not be allowed because WOWWWW this is too good…
It’s not a proper tex mex meal if you don’t get an XXL margarita likeeee… I got the star spangled rita which is frozen and gets you three flavors and boy are these STRONG. So good too you don’t feel it while drinking it until BAM.
Last but not least is the FREE SOFT SERVE by the exit. YEAHHHHH. Whoever came up with that may your pillow be nice and cold for eternity because thats genius. And get this its the GOOD kind of soft serve thats a little watery and icey but still super creamy which is rare to come by these days.

Excellent food and drinks. Best service in the industry. I had a great server, I think her name was Tatiana. Every bite of my meal was amazing fresh and just perfect. The Czar of talk radio Michael Berry recommended this place and so far he is 3 for 3.

Friendly staff, cool atmosphere and food was pretty good! Really enjoyed the complimentary chicharon with guacamole purchase! I got the pastor bowl and bf got fajitas, both were fantastic, just needed some spice to it 😉

We tried the Pollo Tampico and Fajita Bowl — both were decent, though not super flavorful. Chips and salsa were really tasty, and the service was excellent. I had the house margarita; it was okay, but I’ve had better ones around Katy. The place itself is clean, cozy, and has a nice, welcoming vibe. Overall, a pleasant spot for a relaxed meal!

Had the best time here! Our server Nick was super attentive and friendly. The seafood enchiladas were amazing and that wine cream sauce… I could’ve literally drank a gallon of it. The pastor fajitas were tasty, and the michelada hit the spot. Definitely adding this place to my go-to Tex-Mex list. Oh and free soft serve for dessert!!

Gringo’s is always on point. For a chain restaurant the service is impeccable, very warm and well trained staff. So many food options and they are all really good.
The special they ran for Halloween was great, loved seeing all the staff in costumes and kids got their favorite meals for free! Management coming and checking on us made us feel special.
This is a gem in the katy area and we are really fortunate to have them here
