Eclectic menu. Not just your standard pub food. Everyone loved what they ordered. Generous portions. We ended up get a go box. Busy, but our server kept up and was friendly. Excellent beer list, too. Don’t be deceived by the location. It’s terrific.

Went to Brygge a few weekends ago on a day trip to DL. Was really pleasantly surprised! The goat cheese quesadilla was our favorite. We shared some sandwiches which were really good. Not a lot of seating if its busy but worth going to and a great addition to Detroit Lakes!

Fries were very good however the dill pickle ones were very lightly seasoned so didn’t taste much of the pickle flavor. Brygge burger was just ok. Overall food quality was ok nothing special. Good service. Clean and nice interior space.

Clean restaurant lots of windows not at the lake beach, near Central market. Great outdoor fireplace on the patio. Intriguing menu items such as gouda cheese quesadilla and pickle bites. Extensive collection of beers on tap, bemidji blonde my favorite, available. Their chicken and cream cheese fried rolls and French fry straws are the bomb too. Love Brygge taps and Tastes.

I brought my family to this restaurant which I love the fact they allow kids in this place. The server was very sweet. We were famished and she took our orders quickly and we received our food very quickly. The food was amazing. The environment was comfortable for a family with young kids. My husband enjoyed the beer. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

This place is really cool..love the atmosphere and the wood fire going in the patio area. They get local beef so the hamburgers are the real deal and are truly amazing. Salads are also super great and the main reason we stopped in.

A sincere friendly piece of advice; work with your front staff who take pick-up orders to accurately give a correct estimated pick-up time, give or take 5-10 min. We were told 20 min. and waited for close to an hour; our fried pickles were cold and the cheese was completely hard.

Just ok. I liked the feel of the place. Reminds me of a brewery. Looks like a brewery. Not a brewery.
They have a nice menu, lots of good selections to choose from. Great selection of beers to choose from. Had two beers, no off dirty line flavors.
On to the food. After ordering it was a solid 30 minutes or more before it arrived at the table. We had four adults and two children. None of our food was hot. Fries were cold on everyone’s plate and the one child had the house made chips, I tasted them and they were burnt tasting and very dark. Just wasn’t really impressed with the food presentation or the quality. Probably won’t be returning.

I was in Detroit Lakes for work and tried Brygge’s for dinner. Their signature burger was excellent. Huge selection of tap beers and their fries were the best I’ve ever had. Friendly staff too.
Definitely 5 stars.
