Unbelievable food and service. Our family has been coming to Doppio Zero for well over 10 years and it is still our favorite spot. Sal and Moises took great care of us. Our water was always refilled before we even had to ask — and they were on top of everything g the whole night.
For food, we had a mixture of the Neapolitan style margarita pizza, lasagna, and the gnocchi.
The lasagna was said to be the best our group has ever had — and they travel to Italy often. The margarita pizza took us right back to Italy — the dough and crus were absolutely perfect. The gnocchi was out of this world — the eggplant and tomato sauce were outstanding and I’m still trying to figure out how I could try and replicate that incredible flavor. I ordered mine with extra sauce because it’s so good — I may have to come back and have it again!
Thank you to the Doppio team for always going us a fantastic night. Can’t wait for our next dinner here!

Had a reservation. Initially, led outside (when I had booked an inside res) so let staff know.
Also, super weird placement for staff to have all the outdoor utensils and cups at a high traffic area at the front.
A lot busier than expected.
Two of us ordered:
nectarine salad $14
marechiaro $25
bistecca $42
margherita pizza $19
limoncello spritz $15
almanac hazy ipa $9
Overall, food was ok. Nothing really stood out. A bit disappointed on the main entrees.

Absolutely love this place. The pizza is next-level—the crust is perfectly baked, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and generous. You can really tell they care about quality.

Ordered bufalina. Oh the pizza sauce was so well made, one of the best!!! The cheese was fresh. Crust was crisp but i wish it wasn’t burnt in some places as i absolutely love to eat the crust haha.
Also loveeeed the lighting. Its located at a very cute street. Nice to have dinner and then take a cute stroll.

One of Mountain View’s best Italian spots. They do a mean Neapolitan-styled pizza. Try their white namesake pizza with prosciutto and burrata. Definitely a crowd-pleaser! We enjoyed the Squid Ink pasta the most vs. the wild boar fettuccine. $35+/pax (including tip) without alcohol. It gets just during the lunch peak and weekends so reserve early! Visiting from Singapore!

The fish was solid and the pear pizza was unique in a good way, more of a sweet savory pizza.
Outdoor atmosphere was good too, wouldn’t mind visiting again. Pricing wise they are relatively in line for other similar experiences.

Tried this spot as a recommendation and wow WOW Im very impressed by service and the food. Tried mt first potato croquet and it blew me away . We ordered a Margherita pizza and a Doppio Zero pizza

I dream about this pizza. I have converted nonbelievers, cheese only to this pizza. I have to get it every time I am out in the bay. Go here and get the Doppio Zero. Also the broccolini was argued to be one of the best broccolini ever as well.

walked in and grabbed a seat at the bar and had such a good experience. i ordered the stracciatella and tomato basil pasta and an arugula salad — everything came out quickly and was super flavorful. the pasta was fresh and comforting, and the salad balanced it perfectly. the vibe is casual but elevated and you can tell they care about the food. i’d come back for the pizza next time, it looked amazing.

I ordered a pizza in advance for pickup. Instead of waiting until the appropriate time they baked it right away and left it on the counter even though the receipt clearly stated the scheduled pick up time. I didn’t realize the pizza wasn’t hot until I was part way home. It was soggy and coagulated from sitting in the box so long, so not edible. What surprised me is that they wouldn’t give me a refund or new pizza when I notified them via text and email about the situation later that evening. I even tried calling the next day but nobody picked up. The staff at the front door was very unwelcoming, and they obviously have some type of management issue here. I don’t know how a place can stay in business with this type of service.
