Totally understand why this place has such a high rating!
Sushi was amazing, the wait was a little long, but if you’re on a date totally recommend, I ordered sushi and another thing ( don’t remember the name, but it was delicious),
And the fish feels sooooo fresh!
Definitely will be returning back,
Make sure to make reservation, it’s super easy, since the place is small if you come in a group might be challenging to get seated immediately,
Definitely will be coming back!

So far i have found two sushi restaurants that I consider my favorite in the city. This is One of them! Great for a casual Wednesday dinner or a date night dinner before a night out in North Beach. Right around the corner from china town, few blocks from FiDi and North Beach, it’s easily accessible from either side of town.

The rolls are packed with flavor, quality ingredients. They have a creative fusion of umami with the right fish and sweet natural ingredients like mango. You get full kick of the sushi flavor you crave in every bite! You can’t go wrong with any roll but my top are the sunflower, rainbow, 49er and of course, the lion king! Don’t forget the shishito!

I grew up eating raw fishes that got fished out in the morning so my standards are maybe high here.

I took the Sashimi Chef’s choice and a green tea. The decoration of the room and the plate were very beautiful and peaceful, the sashimi were ok+.

The slices were not perfectly cut so I had to manually separate them, and I got mostly fatty parts, I really prefer lean parts.
Overall, not very amazed by the taste but it wasn’t bad.

Paid 55,6 dollar after tax.

i used to live in north beach and would come here all the time. it is a small restaurant which makes it even more intimate, perfect for quality sushi that demands the right setting. they have a smaller menu which is another sign of them focusing on what they can do best. i’ve never had a bad bite with them.

First time in SF from the UK and we saw the reviews and decided to book in for a meal on Sunday evening. We ordered a few rolls, gyozas and a ramen to share. The food was delicious and fresh.

The staff were quiet but friendly. Would recommend to family and friends if visiting SF!

Nice little spot! Emphasis on little. Went in, was the only diner for a while until a few other folks came in. Sat at the counter that had a convenient foot bar. Staff was attentive. The music was really calming too.
Ordered the duck breast ramen for 1$18 and it was so good! Great flavors! Was so excited to eat, I burned my tongue a little Didn’t try any sushi, but if you’re looking for a ramen fix, you won’t be disappointed!

The food is delicious. The service is excellent. Had miso soup, edamame, lots of nigiri, a Folsom roll, and some beer. So good! But, they have a front door that doesn’t close when people go in or out. It was cold tonight. I had to get up each time a delivery driver or diner came into/out of the restaurant to close the door because the small restaurant felt the chill when the door stayed open. If this was fixed, it would be 5 stars easily. We’ll be back.
