Reviews
The food, however, was more of a mixed bag.
The French onion soup was well presented and the cheese was excellent, though the broth could have used more depth. The charcuterie and cheeses were great. My halibut special was unfortunately a bit dry and lacked flavor, and dessert was just okay. Overall a lovely experience, mainly for the ambiance and service, with room for improvement on the main courses.
While the food didn’t fully live up to the hype for me this time, the experience as a whole was still enjoyable. I’d be open to returning and trying a different entrée, because everything else about the evening was beautifully done.
Mussels and their pate are my favorite apps. Escargot is decent not great, pork belly is good, charcuterie board is enormous, and you can never go wrong the French onion soup.
Their entrees are the treat though. Beef bourguignon, steak au poivre, Coq au vin, the trout, all excellent. Great desserts and plenty of wines / cocktails to choose from as well!
Me and my friend had prime booth seats, right in the middle of the restaurant. Nicolas, the Frenchman, was our amazing server! He was so very personable and funny. He was an expert on the menu. The other staff here were amazing as well.
This is my second time dining here — the first being circa 2015 or 2016. A decade later, I’m back and the experience was even more special. I love the dim lighting and the moodiness of this restaurant. It’s a spacious spot, but cozy at the same time. Nicolas has a gift in making us feel as if we were the only diners that mattered that evening.
Nicolas rattled off the specials of the evening. We chose the escargot, flat bread, lobster pasta, fried oysters, steak and fries, tuna tartare, and crème brûlée. I ordered a few French 75s. Nicolas also recommended a great white wine to pair with my lobster pasta. That evening was my very first time trying escargot, which was made with a pastry puff. Not a huge fan of snail. I ate 6 of them. But I’m glad that I finally tried escargot! I didn’t like the oysters fried. In my opinion, oysters are better raw. But everything else that I mentioned I had ordered was delectable!
It was so funny because Nicolas convinced us that it was me and my friend’s “anniversary,” lol. So as a result, he gave us two desserts, gratis. Like I said earlier, my crème brûlée was bomb!
Recommend: escargot, fish dish, and scallops
I know my pics aren’t the best, but it was seriously soooo good!!!
If you’re searching for authentic French dining in Atlanta, this restaurant is a true gem. The moment you sit outside under the red awnings, you’re transported to a Parisian café—elegant, inviting, and ideal for everything from a romantic date night to a leisurely lunch with friends.
The beet and goat cheese salad was stunning—roasted golden and red beets paired with creamy goat cheese and fresh microgreens. Light, refreshing, and beautifully presented.
The escargot with puff pastry is unforgettable. Baked in rich garlic-herb butter and topped with perfectly golden pastry rounds, it’s one of the best versions you’ll find in Atlanta.
The French onion soup is pure comfort food bliss: a deep, savory broth layered with caramelized onions and topped with bubbling Gruyère cheese. Absolutely perfect.
✨ Service was attentive, and the overall experience struck the right balance between upscale and welcoming. If you’re looking for the best French restaurant in Atlanta, this spot should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!
Such a happy, memorable experience that put us right into the Christmas spirit—we loved every moment! ✨
