We hosted our daughter’s baby shower at Bella Trattoria, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. All communication with the owner, Jen, was timely, clear, and thorough, making the entire planning process completely effortless.

The ambiance was perfect for our group of 30. The room is beautifully decorated and complemented our theme so well. We were thrilled to have the restaurant to ourselves, which made the event feel even more special and intimate.

I was thrilled with the menus she created and printed—they were beautifully designed and perfectly matched the theme of the shower. The food was outstanding; our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. Henry and Jen made sure the food was served quickly, hot, and that everyone was happy and well taken care of. The drinks were fantastic as well, especially the sparkling white tea!

Working with Jen to plan this event was incredibly easy. We had high expectations, and she exceeded every one of them. I would absolutely plan another event at Bella Trattoria and can’t wait to come back for dinner.

Pictured is french toast tiramisu, salmon with lemon risotto, flourless chocolate cake and chocolate hazelnut creme brulee.

I had ordered a Caesar Salad and my boyfriend the squash ravioli. First two pictures are my Caesar salad, chicken was dry and overcooked. They couldn’t bother to cut the romaine, the cheese was non existent. 3rd picture was the squash ravioli which was actually good as it tases like applesauce and pasta however there were only 3 tiny pieces (which we ordered the 3 instead of the 5) we just didn’t expect them to be so small, add to the fact that these 2 orders alone cost 43$. Safe to say we will not be eating here again. Very surprised after all the good reviews, maybe they were paid off…

Bella Trattoria was an awesome experience for our family. We recently stopped in to try the Sunday Supper and it was excellent. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our meals and the cocktails we had was great as well. Our two young kids even ate their whole meals, a kids pizza and the fried grouper fingers, which never happens, so that was a huge win. The service was great from start to finish. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back again for brunch or dinner.

We’ve been to this restaurant twice now. The first time, my mother got scallops with risotto and asparagus. I got a pulled pork pasta.
The second and most recent visit my mother got their black pepper cavatelli and I got their Sakura pork tomahawk.
The scallops were some of the best scallops we’ve ever had, prior to going to Bella Tratorria, I was convinced that I just didn’t like scallops. But really, no place has made them as good as they make them here. They were seared to perfection, lots of flavor, and not rubbery at all. The pulled pork pasta was also very flavorful and rich. I haven’t had anything quite like it.
The pork tomahawk was amazing. Nice and tender pork, and juicy as well. Usually pork can be tough and dry, they must use a better quality meat here. The quinoa, squash puree and wine sauce complimented the pork really well. I can tell a lot of time went into making the dish.
The cavatelli was not my dish but I did get to try a little bit of it. It was very flavorful and creamy, the pasta choice was also appropriate.
We also did get two desserts – the salted caramel creme brulee and the Nutella and marshmallow pizza. The creme brulee was very light and not a super heavy flavor. Had some sweetness but wasn’t overbearing. Very delicious if a light dessert is what you want.
The Nutella pizza is the opposite, it’s very heavy and rich. Both my mother and I LOVED this dessert!
The space is very nice and cozy. I believe it was an old house that was renovated into a restaurant, it has a small town homey feel to it. The wait staff has always been pleasant to us, friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I also like that they change up their menu with the seasons.
I may even decide to get my valentine’s dinner from them as I saw other things I wanted to try on the menu
tl;dr this restaurant has amazing food and is definitely worth the visit, a small town like Pottstown is very lucky to have them.
Edit 5/27/25 – their pizzas are not good, don’t get their pizzas. Everything else is amazing.

We’ve wanted to try this gem ever since it opened and were so glad we finally got there! It’s a wonderful atmosphere and while they had a good crowd, we really appreciated not being on top of our neighbors! The service was excellent and our server was super-friendly. The food was excellent…we had the cheese & charcuterie, followed pork tenderloin which was moist and flavorful. Carrot cake was outstanding. We really like that everything they use is locally sourced and the menu us creative and diverse. Will definitely return soon!

Thanks, Google, for letting me submit a another review! My wife and I absolutely love this place. The food is high quality and very delicious. (I recommend the grilled octopus starter.) And the recent addition of a liquor license is a great plus. The staff are very friendly. And the interior decor is very inviting. A big thanks to Jennifer and crew!

We went for the Sunday Supper. It’s a 3 course meal for 30$.

The meal was delicious and the service was first rate. They have a bar with a nice selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Little difficult to write a review. This was the first time visiting Bella Trattoria. Never been to any previous iteration of this restaurant. Seems like they did some relatively recent renovations and the place looks great!!! Smallish restaurant but well laid out and nice design choices. The service was also very good. I was actually surprised that, with so many restaurants struggling to find servers, they seemed to have plenty. The food was a little hit or miss. The sourdough bread was terrific with several varieties. The meatball and polenta appetizer was phenomenal!!! The chocolate and banana crème brûlée was very good. As was the sausage pizza. I ordered the carrot ravioli and it was a bit of a mess. I was expecting something light and small. It turned out to be a huge vegan dish with tons of extra vegetables and an odd vinegar/sour taste. The pasta was thick and undercooked (and I like my pasta al dente). We also had some rigatoni with marinara sauce and it was also undercooked and needed salt. Maybe we just made some wrong menu selections that we can correct next time!

We had such a great experience at this beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere is calming, the servers were attentive, and the food was perfection! I highly recommend the wagyu steak with the lobster emulsion and lump crab. I tried the octopus appetizer and was pleasantly impressed. The other thing I love about this place is the selection of mocktails and gluten free food. Well done, Bell Trattoria! My family will definitely be back!

Awesome spot for creative Italian food with seasonal focus! The interior has a refinished farmhouse vibe complete with hardwood floors, exposed stone, and a fireplace. The menu changes seasonally to focus on varied ingredients, but expect small plate/apps, pizza, entrees to pick from.

We started with the rabbit ciccioli, grilled octopus, and bone marrow. The bone marrow nailed the sweet and savory contrast and was smooth with the accompanying crostini. The rabbit was a bit dry, but we appreciated the uniqueness. The octopus was a little over but perfectly seasoned.

We went with the eggplant ravioli as a mid course. Honestly the tomatoes were way too acidic for the mild ravioli. Would not recommend.

Where there were misses on the earlier courses the entrees and desserts were phenomenal. The scallops melted in your mouth and the flavors in that pompano dish were on point. Don’t skip the tenerumi either. It has a unique texture and fresh flavor that’s rare to find.

Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Aaron (sp?) did a great job curating each dish after picking up on the idea that we were, using a cliche phrase, foodies. Highly recommend for special occasions and anyone seeking the creative ingredients their menu features!
