Stopped by Sauce & Suds for a late-night dinner with a friend and it did not disappoint! Sasha was our waitress and she was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Even though it was late, she kept the energy up and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time.

We tried a little bit of everything — tenders, a patty melt, loaded fries, and toasted raviolis. Every dish came out hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. The patty melt was juicy and perfectly grilled, the fries were loaded just right, and the toasted raviolis were such a nice surprise. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.

Overall, Sauce & Suds is the perfect late-night spot in Birmingham if you’re looking for good food, great service, and a chill vibe. Sasha made the whole experience even better — definitely ask for her when you go! Highly recommend.

Food was great! I had the smash burger, onion rings and a lemon drop. The serving size is comparable to the price. I could not eat the whole thing….soooo lunch for tomorrow!

There was only one server and one bartender busting their butts!!!!! That still did not affect the customer service.

Management: On a sunday the people are coming out. The bar was 80% full by the time i left. When i walked in at 8:30 there was 7 people in the larger serving area close to the patio and 9:20 when, I left 6 sets of people (totaling 12) came in.

Nonetheless, I will come back in to try the wings. I am willing to support a new business.

The food and service was great! My family and I visited from Chicago and we were at this place EVERYDAY! The wings are incredible! We also liked the burger, fries and the pretzel. The staff were nice and accommodating. Also they had Salsa dance Saturday night and it was so fun! Definitely recommend

I woke up late tonight looking for food and found a new place. I was apprehensive, but it had good reviews. For bar food, it was amazing, and the portions were huge for the price. I mean it was probably a lil slow compared to a Saturday, but service was amazing. I sat at bar, and Andrea went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Even the beers are fairly priced for what you get. Will definitely be back.

I hope this place succeeds; it’s in a primo location and the concept is good. The food is average bar food, and the chicken tenders were pretty small, especially relative to the price charged. Variety of sauces. The cajun was good; the jerk was meh – way too sweet and didn’t taste much like jerk seasoning. I was hoping the menu would be more diversified and have some items beyond regular bar food. Service was very friendly, probably helped that there were hardly any others dining at the same time.

We had a great and attentive server who guided us towards the spiciest sauce which had a good flavor and slowly built up over time. I also really like their screamin garlic sauce and the mango habenero sauce for my wings. Husband got the grilled chicken nachos with an “off the menu” “melt your face off sauce that I enjoyed.

Cool sports bar. Could definitely drink 8 beers here and watch football all day. Service was good too. Unfortunately, the wings were awful. Tasted like they were sitting in the walk in for weeks. Almost got sick.

Was in Birmingham for 1 night. The hotel recommended this place. It did not disappoint.
Remember old school service where the person selling you something was also knowledgeable about what they are selling? That still exists here.
The bar tender recommended a local beer, a smash burger, and Drunken Fries. Those fries are like a hug from your grandma.

Don’t pass on this place.

Great location and very good food. Prices seemed reasonable. I would have given 5 stars total, but the service was quite slow (granted it was Saturday night) and there were menu items that were not available during our visit (local beers). I will consider visiting again if I end up in the area again in the future.

First but not last visit. The chicken was cooked to order & was cooked perfectly. The lemon pepper sauce was made obviously with fresh lemon juice. Very fresh. Buffalo sauce was standard. My friend had the quesadilla and praised it highly as being fresh and tasty. Nice place to have a good lunch, just allow time for the cooking of the chicken fresh.
