While in Carlisle, PA, I tried this diner for dinner after work. I enjoyed my meal and the staff were very friendly and fun! I ordered the Walnut Bottom Breakfast Feast and everything came out hot, fresh and tasty . It’s a lot of food for $13! The seats are arranged with plenty of space between parties so it’s not too loud, and it was very clean inside! Great place to eat! Pro tip – at the bottom of your receipt is a 10% off coupon on your next visit that is good for 30 days!

Good portion sizes and great hamburgers, vegetarian patty options also available. They customized my Philly Cheesesteak take to a chicken, shown in attached image. It comes with marinara sauce on the side along with chips and Cole slaw. There is an up-charge for fries which I would highly recommend. One of the best fries I have had. Great service and great food. The cakes are to die for. Always fresh and delicious. The baklava cheese cake was out of this world. It was my first time having it and I’m hooked! Who doesn’t love a diner, the comfort food, the local friendly staff and the colorful customers. Well this place says it all, the staff are friendly and nice, the food was outstanding and the restaurant was cozy and comfortable and spotless.
We stopped in here on our trip cross country for lunch. It was busy but not crowded. The service was quick and the food was delicious, I ordered a Hamburger patty melt, and we had a burger with bacon and blue cheese, both good to perfection.
The parking lot is very big, so there will be plenty of parking.

This is a great place for breakfast & a plethora of other things, but steak isn’t one of them. If I had reviewed in another day, it would have been 5 across the board. I’d say 4.5 but I’m not sure how to do that.
Anyway, I’ve always had pretty nice servers (our server today was especially pleasant) & the food (I usually get french toast & home fries) has been good.
Specifically today, I got steak that was a little too cooked & without much flavor & my bf got country fried steak which he said was pretty good. We also got some onion rings that were pretty good & french onion soup.
4/5 atmosphere because I don’t like the music they play much, but it’s nothing bad. Like, tl;Dr: definitely worth trying if you haven’t already. It’s still a diner so don’t expect more than that, but it’s a solid choice for diners.

The food was okay on my end. Both my other party members did not like what they had for entrees. Waitress was exceptional. She was friendly, courteous and worked all her tables with the same work ethic and demeanor. Best fried haddock I have eaten! Love the cream of broccoli soup! Excellent service! Our waitress was the best! Can’t wait to eat here again when passing thru. My sister and I shared the fried flounder and haddock. Delicious!
