One of the first things I noticed and a huge plus in my book, is that the chips and salsa are complementary and made in-house. You can really taste the difference when they are fresh, and the salsa had a nice kick to it.
For my main meal, I ordered La Patrona, which was a generous seafood platter loaded with fresh shrimp, octopus, and scallops in a delicious, tangy sauce. It was incredibly flavorful and hit the spot. I paired it with a Pineapple Margarita, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. It was the perfect drink for a seafood dinner.
Our server, Gabby, was excellent throughout the night. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.
Overall, it’s a very strong four stars. The food is fresh, the service is great, and those house-made chips are a highlight. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!
One thing that immediately stood out to me was the complimentary chips and salsa ️. They’re made in-house, and you can absolutely taste the freshness. The salsa had just the right amount of heat — enough to give it a kick without overpowering everything else. Such a great way to start the meal!
For my entrée, I ordered La Patrona, a massive seafood platter loaded with shrimp, octopus, and scallops . Everything tasted fresh and was coated in a tangy, flavorful sauce that tied it all together perfectly. It was generous in portion and completely satisfying. I paired it with a Pineapple Margarita , which was refreshing, well-balanced, and not overly sweet — the ideal complement to seafood.
Our server, Gabby, was fantastic all evening . She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of without hovering too much.
Overall, I’d confidently give it a strong four stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Fresh food, excellent service, and those house-made chips really make it stand out. I’m definitely looking forward to going back and exploring more of the menu!
I ordered oysters because the waiter insisted they were the restaurant’s “signature oysters from Mexico” and said they were “really good.” I even asked her — how on earth does a place in Arizona have fresh oysters? She confidently convinced me to trust her.
Biggest mistake ever. Within hours, three out of four of us were violently sick all night long. It’s now the next day (12:46 PM as I’m writing this) and one of my friends is still stuck in the bathroom. The only person who didn’t get sick was the one who didn’t eat the oysters.
I tried to call the restaurant to speak with a manager, hoping they’d take responsibility or at least show concern — he hung up on me. No apology, no accountability.
This was not just disappointing — it was disgusting and dangerous. Never again.
