Today we stopped in after a long morning of shopping for wedding dresses. We walked in and we greeted immediately and seated. The vibe was very elegant and nice. I ordered the Salisbury steak it was delicious. My best friend ordered the roast and her plate was clean. My niece ordered the hamburger and she said it was good just a little more greasy to her taste. After eating I was expecting a big check. The price was amazing 42.00 for all three of us to have a full course meal. As we were getting ready to leave the owner greeted us and thanked us for stopping in.. I would definitely, if you are passing through and looking for a good meal, not expensive stop in and check it out. I will add it to my list and I travel a lot.

Food was delicious. My husband and I tried the grilled meatloaf. It was cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese was a good side option. As for appetizers, we had the fiesta dip, it was mild but tasty.Our service was phenomenal. The waiter was attentive and was able to give good menu suggestions. Definitely will be going back.

I am really not trying to bash a small business and i love to support them when I can.. But this place desperately needs a better menu and cook. I see it having great potential but its almost as if they try too hard in a way.
Keep it simple on your dishes and know that 80% of good food is all in the prep. I just had their steak and while it was very juicy and tender, it had 0 flavor. The mac and cheese had too much going on and the mashed potatoes were good but needed some butter added.
Other than that, they have a great atmosphere and wonderful staff. I hope they get more business and are successful.

I ordered the pan fried chicken sandwich, which was lightly fried & full of flavor. Didn’t even need ketchup or any condiments because for once, the chicken WASN’T dry. You have to try the broccoli & cheese. In my opinion (I’m a broccoli fanatic) was better than the mac&cheese. However don’t knock the mac&cheese because it is also delicious. My husband ordered the steak salad, yes I had to try it too. The steak was perfectly flavorful. Honestly the freshest lettuce I’ve eaten from a restaurant.
Highly recommend this place. Great service. Very clean. Love the open atmosphere, & the staff are super friendly.

First off our server Dylan was awesome,very polite and helpful. Second the food was delicious. I got the grilled meatloaf and when I say mouth watering I’m not kidding. I could have eaten 3 servings. My sides were Mac & cheese and pasta salad. Also very good. The place Has a classy yet inviting feel. And to finish it off we had the chocolate sponge cake with homemade strawberry icing and fresh strawberries with a cup of coffee. We felt so welcomed and spoiled.

My husband and I stumbled upon this absolutely amazing restaurant by sheer accident and I am so happy that we did.
When you walk in, you get the feel of stepping into a restaurant from the 1920’s /1930’s. I immediately fell in love. The atmosphere was different than I have ever experienced. The food was delicious. I had the Salisbury Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Green Bean Casserole. Everything was cooked to perfection. The Chocolate and Strawberry cake was WOW!
They have screens set up with old black and white movies playing. There is a small bar in the back. I could just picture the old bartender withthe towel thrown over his shoulder mixing Martinis. The service was IMPECCABLE. Very attentive staff. I know that this long, but I honestly can’t say enough great things about this place. We will most definitely be back.

Eaten here 3 times now. The last visit, my husband ordered the Mac & Cheese… it had been reheated so many times that the noodles were translucent & chewy. It was so gross. My broccoli & cheese casserole was scalding hot & burned 2 layers off of my tongue… while the other food on my plate was barely warm. We had high hopes for this place but unfortunately we will not be back.

Ate here last night. The waitress was super nice and the atmosphere gave me high expectations but was disappointed with the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Tasted as if it frozen chicken breast with Great Value Ham laid on top and a piece of melted cheese. Very Disappointed but I read that the Meat Loaf is bomb so we will try it. I hope they do well, it’s a nice place.

Have eaten here twice. The food is fantastic! Best steak I have had in a long, long time! Prices are very competitive and not too high. The wait staff is great….they really strive to please the customer. I can see how Rick’s could become the next big thing in Bowdon!
