Reviews
I came here yesterday, early afternoon for a beer and found it very quiet, so I sat in the restaurant area to enjoy some shade from the sun. I had two large beers — service was friendly and relaxed.
Later that evening, I came back with my partner to watch the sunset. It’s clearly a popular spot at that time of day, and there’s a €12 per person entry fee, which includes a drink. I’ve seen some reviews complain about this, but personally I don’t mind — you’re paying for a beautiful place to sit and take in the view. Many of the drinks (like cocktails) are already upwards of €12 anyway, so it’s essentially just a way to ensure everyone orders something, which seems fair enough to me.
I’m writing this on my second day visiting and plan to come again tonight for the sunset. I didn’t order food, so I can’t comment on that, but overall it’s a lovely, well-run spot with great service and a fantastic atmosphere for relaxing by the sea.
If you are looking for sunset you can skip it as there are tons of better places in the island. Here it is packed of tables and you can not get close to the cliffs, so poor experience.
If you are looking for a drink in a nice spot the this is a good option but quite overpriced.
If you are looking for both then it is a mistake: the site is again nice but the snacks are terrible and overpriced, it is always crowded -at least on high season-, you have to lineup and pay a ticket to get in, and drinks&cocktails are limted.
Conclusion: worth to check once…not to repeat.
Tip: the entrance ticket is worth 15€, but you can exchange it for a drink. Some cocktails are worth the same amount.. not a water or a beer though. So only makes sense if you ho for cocktails 😉 Also notice that kids (and non-alcoholic drinkers?) pay 5€ (drink included)
One of the coolest highlights is when the waiters come out with music and fireworks, waving white napkins and creating a fun, festive mood. It’s such a unique experience and really makes you feel part of the celebration.
Special thanks to our waiter Jackson — excellent service, very attentive and always with a smile. He made the evening even more enjoyable.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, stylish, and perfectly thought out. Definitely coming back!
While opinions on the food was amazing and pricing was with point with the quality and location, I appreciated the overall ambiance and the care Andre showed us. I highly recommend Artrutx Sea Club for those looking to relax with great views and wonderful service, and I look forward to returning soon.
Special credits to Ander who made sure we had a fantastic night, answered all questions and ensured my friends meals were all Gluten free. The view is outstanding and perfect for a ‘last night’ or ANY night meal!! Really makes you feel sentimental about visiting such a beautiful country as a whole, learning and seeing such community and culture all displayed in the team work here just in how fast they set tables up, ensure each guest is having a good time etc.
Bravo team
