Momo Sushi in Gastown was amazing! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every roll was delicious. The fish tasted high quality, and the rice and sauces were perfectly balanced.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere fits perfectly with the charm of Gastown.

I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend for anyone craving top notch sushi in the area!

Loved this place. The bibimbap was really good, full of flavor and super satisfying. The bulgogi sushi was amazing such a good combo and honestly addictive. And the takoyaki? Hands down the best I’ve had, crispy outside, soft inside, just perfect. The service made it even better. Our Korean server was so sweet and genuinely happy that we liked the food, you could tell it meant a lot to her. That kind of energy just makes the whole experience better. Would 100% come back.

I recently visited Momo Sushi in Gastown, BC, and overall I had a really enjoyable experience. The location itself is great, right in the heart of Gastown, making it a convenient stop whether you’re exploring the area or just craving sushi. The restaurant has a nice, casual vibe and feels comfortable for both dine-in and takeout.
The highlight of my meal was definitely the Dynamite Roll. It was packed with flavor, crispy on the outside, and perfectly balanced with the spicy sauce. You could tell it was freshly made, and it ended up being one of the best dynamite rolls I’ve had in a while. The Godzilla Roll was also excellent — generous portions, great texture, and a really satisfying combination of ingredients. Both of these rolls alone made the visit worth it.
Unfortunately, the Unagi Roll was a letdown. It arrived noticeably cold, which really took away from the flavor and texture of the eel. Unagi is usually warm, soft, and slightly sweet, but this one tasted off and just wasn’t enjoyable at all. It stood out in a bad way compared to how good the other rolls were.
Service was decent and the food came out fairly quickly, which I appreciated. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location.
Overall, Momo Sushi delivers some really strong rolls, especially the dynamite and Godzilla rolls. If they improve consistency on items like the unagi roll, this place could easily be a 5-star spot. I’d still come back and try more items from the menu.

Had lunch at Momo Sushi today and it was such a solid experience!
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — you can tell they care about quality.
The staff were super friendly and the place had that cozy, chill Gastown vibe.
Definitely one of the best sushi spots I’ve tried in Vancouver — simple, clean, and worth coming back for.

We ordered King Dragon Special Roll, assorted tempura and wakame. The portions are big and ideal for sharing. The sushi roll is very flavourful and the tempura is very crunchy and not oily. Overall experience is great! Definitely we’ll come back !

Recommended by a flight attendant my husband and I came to Momo sushi and had an incredible dinner. We shared three rules, the baked molten rock ‘n’ roll, the Godzilla roll, and the king dragon roll. All of the sushi were incredibly fresh, lots of filling with the right amount of rice. The Godzilla Roll was a 10, the torched salmon was over the top and has given me a new appreciation for the art of sushi. We have found our new sushi place!!!

Classic, iconic, and undeniablely delicious Vancouver sushi, one of the best around the area. It’s busy so make a reso if you want to eat inside (peak times).

Otherwise you can order takeout and eat it right outside in their takeout dinning area! (If there’s room, first come first serve).

Again…. One of the top sushi gems in the area and the price point is on par for value. Well done and thank you ✅

We were on our way to see the Gastown Steam Clock but were already very hungry, and this restaurant was right nearby, so we walked in with no expectations. To our surprise, the portions were huge and the food was actually really good. I also thought it was very affordable for such a touristy area.
I ordered the MoMo box and even shared it with my kid and still left feeling full. We also tried the beef yakisoba, which was oishii (that’s “delicious” in Japanese!). If you’re in the area and want a filling, satisfying meal, this is a great spot to stop by.
