Parking was easy – we just parked at the beach lot across the road (free). We walked around all the other food trucks and this one was the busiest but also smelled delicious and we couldn’t resist. I got the pad Thai shrimp and it was legit, haven’t had pad Thai this good since I was in Thailand! Came with five big shrimp as well. Friendly service, nice atmosphere in the food truck zone and took about 10 minutes for our order. I wasn’t sure if you could customize spice, but they had a bottle of hot sauce on the counter. Would recommend if you’re in the mood for Thai/noodles!

The Thai Mee Up food truck is a delightful food option in Maui; we went there twice during our four evening stay. They have a few gluten-free options on the menu; I enjoyed the Cashew Chicken; I think one of the others was Pad Thai, and I can’t remember the third. The food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend. In the same food truck area you can find other options, for example Hawaiian Shave Ice for dessert.

The green curry was actually just warm coconut milk with a few veggies. The saddest excuse for curry I almost went back and asked for a refund but didn’t want to go through the trouble. The only protein option was shrimp also which was disappointing to me.

So delicious I bought more than one plate. Be careful to listen for your name , we had one of our plates got stolen by an american lady with no repercussions or slap on the wrist at all. So listen for name and speak up if you see someone at window pretending to be you. Good thing thai me up did replace our stolen plate. Focusing on taste of garlic shrimp! Amazing !!! So good

The pork dish was a pleasant surprise—flavorful and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the flat noodles were a letdown, with soggy texture and scattered egg pieces. The fried rice was average, and the curry leaned too sweet for my taste.
The atmosphere, however, was fantastic, with a unique Asian-Hawaiian vibe that made the experience enjoyable. It’s a warm, inviting spot with great potential.
Overall, I’d return to explore more of the menu. While not everything impressed, the pork dish and ambiance make it worth another visit.

This place was awesome!! It was, by far, the best pad Thai I had on the island! My husband had the Penang curry and it was SO good as well. Their prices were also the most affordable we had on our trip to Maui! If that wasn’t enough, the atmosphere of their location, with an outside garden experience only added to the charm of this place. The staff were friendly and had samples they were offering guests. Did I say the food was amazing?!! We had eaten at Star Noodle in Lahaina just the night before, paid more than double what we paid here and we left underwhelmed and disappointed. I am so glad we took the suggestion from one of the you tubers to try Thai Mee Up… it was one of our favorite eats during our entire week in Maui!!

Ate here based on all the very positive reviews and they weren’t wrong! This was an outstanding meal and to come from a food truck in a great location, at such low cost, with friendly service is even better. We had the Panang Curry and Drunken Noodles and loved both. Both were piping hot, so fresh and flavorful and plenty of food. Couldn’t pick a favorite, and couldn’t have liked it more. We’ll be back!
