Absolutely fantastic experience at Rita’s Seaside Grille!
We went there yesterday and were blown away by how friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating the entire staff was. The atmosphere has a warm, casual beachy vibe, and everyone makes you feel right at home.
Our waitress, Taylor, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and every recommendation she made was spot-on. The food was absolutely delicious; I ordered the pork chops, and they were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We loved everything so much that we decided to return for dinner again today.
When we came back, the staff immediately remembered us and kindly returned my wife’s credit card, which she had accidentally left behind the night before. Their honesty and friendliness truly stood out and meant a lot to us.
Another big plus: this restaurant is extremely pet-friendly, making it an awesome spot for families to relax and spend quality time together.
Overall, Rita’s Seaside Grille has great food, amazing service, and some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. We’ll definitely be coming back again on future trips. Highly recommended!

Had the best time stopping here for lunch. It’s a vibrant and fun atmosphere and the food and service were all top notch! Thank you Shelly for making it enjoyable. Everything was delicious. The only regret is not being able to eat more so I could have tried the wings.

We just had the best experience at Rita’s with our 6 month old puppy. She was treated like family and enjoyed her first scrambled egg from their extensive dog menu. She even got her first souvenir & will cherish her Rita’s frisbee! The human food was excellent too & our server, Steve, was absolutely fantastic!!! I have a gluten allergy and they have a gluten free menu which and cared about my health and safety as well! We will definitely come back!! Thank you for going the extra mile to accommodate us on your heated patio in December!!

Had a wonderful experience Christmas Eve at Rita’s. We didn’t have to wait for a table (we’ve been before and never have). Staff was in great spirits and our waiter was very polite and friendly. The guy who brought our food was so much fun. It was a bit busy but it didn’t feel at all cramped. Thank you for another wonderful evening!

Rita’s Seaside Grille was fantastic! The shrimp po’ boy was packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned shrimp, fresh lettuce and tomato, and that sauce was amazing. The curly fries were crispy and addictive, and the cheesy grits on the side were creamy and delicious!
The laid-back beach vibe, friendly service, and ocean breeze made it the perfect lunch spot on Folly Beach. Definitely a must-try when you’re here!

The Shrimp & Grits here are amazing!!! I came to Charleston excited to eat Shrimp & Grits among other dishes. Tried them at a couple places in the downtown/quarter area at restaurants said to have the best (& that were also very expensive) and tbh they were so bad I couldn’t even finish them… I was so upset that the one thing I was super excited to eat kept being a let down. But I came to Rita’s for breakfast the day I was leaving and wow!! This is what shrimp and grits are supposed to be like. I gobbled it up. Great atmosphere, dog friendly patio, and attentive service plus it’s far more reasonably priced than downtown. Come here you won’t regret it!

I spent the weekend at Folly Beach and this was by and far the best place I ate! The atmosphere was fantastic – an open floor plan with lots of tables but no crowded feeling. Bay doors that brought in the ocean breeze. The music was a whole vibe.
Our sever was excellent. Attentive but not overly so. Considerate and easy to gain his attention.
And the food. My lord! Giant portions. Gorgeous presentation. Delicious. Simply delicious!
We had Bloody Mary’s and a salad app – beautiful and tasty! I ordered the classic Rita breakfast. My friends ordered the special. We did not finish our food.
Absolutely do not miss Rita’s if you are around Folly!
