TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken was literally FIIIRE!!! Drizzle some honey on it then dip it their sauce. Your taste buds will rejoice. I wish they had gluten free options for the breading because I did unfortunately get very sick but… that was my fault going into it. I was out of state and really wanted to try it. Going down very good 🙂

Our first time eating here, and man was that worth it!! Absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Food came out in less than 10 minutes, seating is kinda limited but they do have a patio outside which is nice. I got the “hot” flavor and it was perfect.

The chicken is hot, juicy, and crispy. Definitely an excellent sandwich. I would get it more spicy than you think you can handle. Because it wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be. Would come back, but very expensive.

The chicken is terrible quality. It’s cheap Tyson brand or similar. The breading on the chicken is pretty basic with little to no seasoning. Fries were decent crinkle cut with some spicy seasoning on it. Service was good. Store was clean. Chicken needs to be upgraded to a good brand that isn’t full of hormones.

It’s really nice that they’re open late, and in Colorado Springs It seems like everything is shut down by 9 PM (and that is absolutely insane).
The chicken seemed OK, nothing to brag about. The coleslaw was also OK
The fries were rather bland. I think I’ll go back and try different options on the menu, mainly because they’re open late hours, and that is really convenient having more options than just the taco shop.
Ps…..I thought a peculiar happenstance that both me and my husband got sick in the middle of the night and the next morning, so I’ll probably give him one more shot…… ♀️then Ur done ✅
