I LOVE a good little hole in the wall that serves up great food without crazy price tags! I got the spicy beef noodle soup which was huge and delicious and the scallion pancakes which were a little greasy but super crispy and tasty. Everything was so good I got an order of Ma Po Tofu to go which was also nice and flavorful! Nice and spicy, no frills just good food!

My sister found this place on Facebook so we gave it a try. They specialize in build your own “Hot pot” soup. You choose a broth base, protein, veggies and spice level. We got the half and half soup base one side no spice and the other spicy with spicy beef, shrimp and veggies. You add everything yourself at the table so that aspect was fun but the taste itself was so so. While it was extremely spicy there was still decent flavor overall. The issue we found with the half and half pot is that once you add the meats, noodles and veggies to the pot all broth boil into each other and everything was spicy. The restaurant itself is lack luster very plain but clean. The staff was really nice though.

If you’re looking for something unique with a Chinese original restaurant and this is the place to go. The hot pot was made the traditional way with many options and flavors to choose from.
So many different styles and with a variety of meats, vegetables , unique ingredients the old fashioned hot pot! You won’t be disappointed

We went around 7:45pm and had missed the hot pot hours, so we ordered a whole fish and beef noodle soup, with salt and pepper calamari. Very good food, nice and spicy, great flavor.

We were here on a Saturday lunch, completely dead. We didn’t get the hotpot, food quality was average. Good but not amazing. Portion size is below average, price is fair at least. Biggest complaint would be the service. The round table was set on a square table. Normally not a huge issue except it was very badly centered. If we didn’t discover it earlier and center it ourselves, it would’ve been a huge hazard for tipping over especially with boiling hotpot. The big round table also lack of lazy Susan. And lastly, we had 8 people and they won’t split checks, so it was a hassle to Venmo each other or exchange cash at the end.

What a little gem of a restaurant. No frills or kitsch, authentic food and unusual dishes. Great options for spicy food lovers, including vegetable dishes. Try the sour spicy rabbit pot! It’s enough for 3 or 4! Very friendly people and very large portions.

I was so excited to eat at this new authentic Chinese hot pot place. This place is an amazing experience for the whole family. For those of you who are not familiar with what hot pot is think of it as a cheese fondue, which is super healthy and reasonably priced. We tried the $10 Sichuan hot pot and added our choice of meats and veggies. We got the lamb, spicy beef, lotus root, potatoes, eggplant, and tofu. The meats are for $7 each and the veggies are for $3 each. The quantity and quality of their food is unimaginable, and we were super stuffed after our meal. The hot pot is accompanied by a dipping sauce that you can make to your liking by combining the sesame paste, minced garlic, cilantro, scallions and a drizzle of sesame oil. You can get a variation in the hot pot liquid such as the non-spicy versions. The spicy chicken hot pot is for $28 and includes chicken and a 4 veggie choice. I would definitely recommend this as a super fun activity for the entire family where you can have a couple of hours of quality family time together. They have other food items that looked really appetizing, as well. I am definitely going back for more!

I am so glad I found this place! I was craving authentic Chinese food and they hit the mark. I ordered the Deep Fried Spicy Chicken and was instantly hooked. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and the the oils from the szchechuan peppers creates an addictive and spicy sauce. The crispy ribs in garlic sauce is amazing, but I’ll admit I’ve had the spicy chicken nearly everyday. The service is fast and the dining area is authentic and inviting. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food that your taste bus will love, then this is the place.
