The biggest advantage of this place is the all-you-can-eat lobster on weekends. This alone makes it highly score well for the price. Also, the ingredients feel like they are of better quality than those used at a standard local buffet.

However, a buffet is still a buffet. The seafood, including the lobster, seems to have been heavily salted for a long time to hide its old quality. Therefore, the food is generally salty.

The biggest downside, however, is the severe cigarette smoke, which is strong enough to cling to your clothes. I would not recommend taking children here.

Also, the line is long on weekends. You should definitely make a reservation before you go. Even without a reservation, you will have to wait 20 to 30 minutes.

Outrageous experience to be honest. First time staying at the hotel, two nights, we decided to eat at the Koto buffet. Wasnt that packed, probably 60% capacity, but the buffet was 75% empty tins, all the customers standing around complaining about the lack of food. And it was 6:15 at night, not at closing. After complaining to the manager, sitting around for 45 minutes, and not seeing him do anything to rectify the problem, and being essentially forced to eat stuff we didnt want as thats all there was, we finally asked for our 25 dollars each back. In the meantime they were still allowing many customers in for little food. Ridiculous. Do better Koto. Your closed tommorrow, tuesday. Maybe hire, train more chefs so a buffet actually has ample food as advertised. It was a monday and not that busy. Not sure if I will ever trust them again for a good meal.

This is our favorite buffet hands down closest to Sacramento. It’s located inside Red Hawk Casino. We usually eat here especially during the holidays because of their menu. We enjoyed lobsters, snow crab legs, turkey, prime rib, beef short ribs, ahi poke, some desserts. Food is good and staff are always nice.

Koto Buffet inside Red Hawk Casino is one of the best casino buffets in the Sacramento area. It opens every day except Tuesday at this time: lunch and dinner. The food is pretty good by buffet standards. The workers are very friendly and attentive. I love their dining room, especially with the window tables. The view is gorgeous. The dining room itself is clean and comfortable. All the food stations are well organized, and the yummy foods are well displayed.

I think you get the value for your money here. It’s $59 for an all you can eat seafood buffet, which means just crab and lobster really. If you’re looking for a high-quality seafood meal, I would go to a seafood restaurant but if you’re looking for a good buffet locally that has an all you can eat seafood amenity this is your place. I live locally and have not been to the buffet during the week when they’re offering our skilled back, but I’ve been here many times over the years on weekends and have not been disappointed. I just know to make a reservation a day or two ahead of time and try to get there early to have the best experience. I usually like to tie the buffet into a little bit of gaming beforehand or after or even going bowling beforehand or after the activities at Redhawk are limited, but you can definitely have a nice afternoon/evening with a spouse and/or family.

The manager blonde lady was incredibly rude. She came to our table saying that our time was up and the table was already reserved for someone else, even though we were still eating, claiming that we had been there for more than the time . She made us move tables without finishing our food.
My husband and I were regular customers of this buffet, we liked going there every month, but they’ve lost a customer.

The lobster buffet on weekends is good, but pass on this place any other time. Berry cobbler was rancid and not edible. Told supervisor, Kimi, who did not apologize nor correct the issue.

We were very disappointed with the buffet. Our reservation was for 4pm. But I ask why a reservation. No one was there and nobody asked if we have a reservation. Aside from that, the food was not hot and fresh, which is what you expect when you are there at the opening. Nope it looked unappealing, dry, old, leftover from lunch, it was not warm, even though it sits on a warming table. I looked at the desserts, nothing labeled except sugar free items, went to pick up a cookie, I had to get the fruit flies off the cookie then did not get one because of the flies that were in abundance on that side of the counter. There needs to be a serious meeting with management and chefs unless you really don’t care.

I’ve been coming here over the past decade! One of the best Buffets. Its Clean, food is Fresh every batch they make runs out so they have cookers behind making some more hot food! A little bit of everything, salad bar, fruit dessert, Mexican, American, Asian. Everyday it is different foods they make to have variety. Its worth paying the $25. Fridays & Saturday, Approx $60, its seafood day so its expensive but still the good worth and quality. Sunday they have brunch about $40 bucks. I’d recommend it and tell you to believe me cuz my tastes buds work and the amount of years and recommendations I’ve made to others have brought lots here.
