We love Glenda’s! My husband and I found this place a couple of weeks ago and have been back almost every weekend for breakfast. The steak and eggs are incredible. There are always different menu items of the day and I don’t think there’s been a bad one yet. My husband loved the italian stallion omelet and he about died of happiness the day he had their jalapeño biscuits and gravy. This is easily the best breakfast cafe in Lake Country.

Great “Mom and Pop” country Cafe. We were the last two in for a Friday night. Treated down home. I had thier fish fry which was great along with their baked fish too. Great homemade pies! Their menu changes daily however there’s a couple of staple items. Laid back country home atmosphere. Beats the surrounding restaurants easily!

Looking for delicious food…this your spot! It’s truly a gem in the Lake Country. The dinner menu is written on a board attached to the wall…asked for any basic cocktail and they’ll be able to make it for you. When you dine indoors you’re treated with watching the kitchen is make your meal in the same room! I felt like I was in my Grandparents home enjoying a meal prepared just for me. Don’t miss the homemade desserts, enticing you in the counter. Don’t worry, if you’re too full to enjoy dessert while at Glenda’s Cafe they’ll send one home with you!

This is a great place to get breakfast! The menu has some creative variations every time I go in. Even the simple things like French toast and hash-browns are well executed. The eggs Benedict is very good.
The seating is a little light so be prepared to wait if you show up at the wrong time.
The coffee is decent for diner coffee. Service is good. Best breakfast spot in the area.

We went on a Sunday morning to have breakfast, luckily we arrived prior to church getting done! My husband ordered 2eggs hashbrowns sausage patties and sourdough toast, I ordered biscuits and gravy and 2eggs. I was surprised to get two whole fluffy biscuits with the sausage gravy, next time I’ll ask for a half order with eggs! We were both very full and didn’t have room for dessert.

Home cooked food at it finest. We visited Glenda’s for a last minute dinner out. The food was outstanding. I had a french dip sandwich with seasoned steak fries and creamy coleslaw. My husband had the salmon blt, which he quickly devoured. Raspberry pie and banana cream pie for dessert, which was homemade. The last time I had banana cream pie this good was in New Orleans. Excellent service and atmosphere. We will be back. Prices were reasonable also.

The pics should say it all. Love everything about Glenda’s. Great food and great service. Made from scratch desserts. Yum! This is the classic BLT, salsa/avocado “burger” (I chose no meat), pecan pie and chocolate mousse cake.

I came here with my mom and grandma. It’s a small little diner. They have a small selective menu which I personally like because then it’s easier to make a decision! We had good service. The atmosphere was good for my grandma. She could hear our conversations for the most part. The food and service were great!
