I am so glad that we stopped here–the ribs were fantastic and had a nice, seasoned crunch on the outside, but very tender and perfectly cooked on the inside, also, the sausage is some of the best that I’ve ever had. The brisket was also very delicious, everything here was perfect and so flavorful. I love the little biscuit that comes with the food, I made little brisket sandwiches, and the barbecue sauce here is very good too. Our server was super friendly, personable, and gave us very helpful suggestions. The atmosphere is nice, like you are in someone’s house having dinner. Will definitely come back here whenever I am remotely close to Memphis in the future. What a gem!

I enjoyed a wonderful table service lunch this morning. Staff were friendly, professional, and prompt. The atmosphere was classic – a perfect Tennessee diner.
I had the regular BBQ sandwich plate. A delicious sandwich with perfect flavor. I of course add the coleslaw to the sandwich.
Today’s lunch was the best BBQ in quite a while.

So for my favorite ribs in Memphis got a few more to go on our next visit to Memphis but so far this is the best ribs in Memphis and great service add to the experience, but this is as authentic as it gets! Banana pudding looks a little crusted and tasted as such.
The ribs are so good. Moist and lots of meat on the bone. The smoke flavor allows you to eat without any sauce, but the sauce is great. I wanted to eat my fingers after. The beans and slaw were really good as well. 100% recommend!

Traveling from out of town and had to try some Memphis BBQ. This place did not disappoint. The ribs and Brisket was delicious. We also loved the banana pudding. Definitely enough food to share between 2 people.

Good local BBQ with a good old school charm. The place has quick service and staff was very friendly. Beef Brisket was very juicy and it had the right amount of smoke. Pork shoulder was very tender as well. Portion sizes were plentiful and platter came with the right amount of extras. Pork chips shown were tasty. Cheese was noting special but was an interesting addition. BBQ Beans were lightly spicy but flavorful.

Two identical orders, 2 platters with pork shoulder and ribs. One set of ribs were good and the other barely edible, either a day old or got forgot in the smoker until it was too late. Sides were on the small side but tasty. It was our fault for not ordering pulled pork and not thinking chopped into mush pork was the default. Overall not a great or terrible experience but knowing the ribs could be good and they made a conscious decision to serve old ribs was disappointing.

Great barbecue and a fun atmosphere. You can tell why they have been around for a long time. I enjoyed the pulled pork and the brisket with the sides. It was too much for me to finish and I had wanted to try the banana pudding. I guess I will have to come back.
