Get the ribs!! Fall apart tender and so good without any sauce. The chipped/shredded/pulled pork was delicious too. It comes without sauce on it. We loved the Red BBQ sauce! Potato salad is good, and baked beans are the closest to how we make them at home – they’re pretty good! We like to try new places vs go back to ones we’ve been to, but Pepper’s make the “Go Back To” list! The prices are fantastic too!

I’ve been to Peppers in the past and it was pretty. Today was a different story. The Rib Platter I ordered had nothing but burnt pieces plus the cashier looked like he was ready to go home and it showed in his customer service. I will give them another shot. But please watch what you serve people

Great BBQ for 1/2 the price of most other BBQ restaurants in Columbus. The restaurant gets really busy at lunchtime and in advance of holidays. Parking is a challenge, but it’s definitely worth a try! Closes early!

Peppers USED to have the best stew in Georgia. I’m sitting here now and it is terrible. It is so watered down it has NO flavor. I used paper towels to soak out over half of the 16
oz cup of liquid. Used to buy it the by gallon to freeze, now they won’t sell it by the gallon or unless it is heated – obviously so it can be watered down. So very disappointed. Suggestions for good, non watery stew?????

My husband and I have been getting BBQ from here every Saturday for a year, and the last 2 Saturdays the BBQ has been too spicy. We were really hoping it was a fluke but we went for lunch this week and it’s still too spicy. Something is different and unfortunately we’re not a fan of the change. We love this place and it is annoying that we’re going to have to stop going there.

I have been going to Peppers for years. Their ribs are always really good! When I go I normally get the Pork platter with BBQ slaw and stew. The pork has a good smoked flavor. The sauces are a little on the thinner side but don’t lack in flavor. Their Red sauce is very tangy and delicious. Both sides are phenomenal. Better than Country’s BBQ and other popular local BBQ spots. Highly recommend Peppers!

This joint used to be my favorite when my parents were alive and lived close by. Best ribs in town and chopped sandwiches were amazing! I haven’t been in a while now that we live out of town and can’t seem to find an excuse to ride by that way anymore. The last time we went I think it was Monday or Tuesday, at 11:30AM, they were oddly closed. Call ahead before you go…not sure what’s going on there The business still has a home in my heart and always will.
