Great place for dinner! Not too fancy, but still feels nicer than casual. Food was delicious and we got to try during restaurant week so we got a great deal that included dessert. Highly recommend the plaintain chips and guacomole (the portion is huge) and the apple crumble dessert. Our waitress maria was so sweet and very attentive. Solid experience.

Chef Geoff’s in D.C. is one of my favorite places to eat — consistently excellent food, fantastic drinks, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The cocktails here are truly outstanding. Creative, well-balanced, and flavorful, they’re perfect whether you’re starting your meal or lingering after dessert.
For food, the lobster roll is my personal favorite — generous chunks of fresh lobster, perfectly seasoned, and served in a buttery toasted roll that never disappoints. Every bite is rich, bright, and satisfying.
The mushroom ravioli is another standout: deeply savory with a silky texture and beautifully paired sauce. It showcases the kitchen’s skill and depth of flavor.
Service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the overall vibe makes it great for date night, a casual lunch, or drinks with friends. If you’re in D.C. and haven’t been to Chef Geoff’s yet, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

This place is my new favorite! First off the bartenders are super friendly and fun! Happy hour was amazing! We ordered the sea bass for dinner and because we didn’t love the sea bass, personal preference on our part, they gave us a free drink and comped the meal. Mind you we did not complain, was just some food left on the plate and an offhand response when our amazing bartender V asked us about it! It’s that type of attention that earns my respect and I will definitely make this my new DC venue!!!

Everything is good in this place. We were visiting during the holidays and the atmosphere was warm and festive. They sat us right away in a cozy booth. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. The cauliflower and wings we started with, were so good. Then each dish was great too. A separate note is needed for the salad, one of the best salads we ever had. The salmon was probably the weakest dish, but not because it was bad, but because it was just very “normal”. Highly recommend for the amazing food and the friendly service.

We explored this restaurant during our holiday in George Town,DC. The staff there were extremely sweet and we really loved the food there. Their fried Calamari was too good, wished they could serve it in larger quantity. In addition to this, we had mushroom ravioli, burger and margarita pizza . Everything was fab.

I was in DC for a business trip and stayed in Georgetown, where there are plenty of great café options around. I hadn’t planned on this spot specifically—I just walked in—and I’m really glad I did.
It was a cold day, so stepping into a place that was warm, cozy, and not overly crowded was perfect. The staff was extremely welcoming, and the ambiance was relaxed and inviting.
I started with an oat milk latte, which was smooth and comforting, and then ordered the three-egg breakfast. The plate came with a small salad, roasted potatoes, and a bagel with eggs. Honestly, it was a lot of food for one person—but absolutely worth it.
Everything was well-balanced and filling, but the roasted potatoes completely stole the show: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right. The bagel and eggs were top-notch and hit the spot perfectly.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking to satisfy your breakfast cravings in a calm, cozy setting. Happy eating!

We needed a bit before going to an evening reception. This place is close to our hotel, so we headed there on a cold afternoon and took advantage of their Happy Hour. Really good. I had the first taco and the steak taco. My husband had the happy hour burger. Both were lots of food and really good. I also had their cava, nice and light. Too bad we were all snowed in the next few days or we would have returned! Service was superb.
