This was our first time and I have to say …we were impressed, food was great and when it was served it was still hot and fresh. Waitress was friendly and made great suggestions…we went for an early dinner but looks like it would have a great atmosphere for a any night of the week.
Will definitely go back!!
We got 2 burgers 2 apps (the apps were 50% off for happy hour..)

Food and drinks are surprisingly good for being a hotel bar restaurant. This bar may have elevate your stay at the Embassy Suites in Round Rock. We were there on a Tuesday during the $8 Burger day. It is a well made burger with thick patty with choice of sides. The lemon drop martini is yummy. The bar has large space to accommodate large parties. Great music, trivia nights and dance floor with live music Friday and Saturday. The service was exceptional! Highly recommended!

Yummy burgers for $8.00 on Tuesdays! Excellent liquor and beer selection. Very friendly, and well staffed bartenders and food servers. Quick setvice.Very clean and nice inside. I also saw they have a lighted dance floor. I’m told it gets very busy later evenings when the music starts. It’s a nice little restaurant/bar.

Have been coming here for a few months and its become one of our favorite go to spots. Pretty much everything we’ve ordered is on point and reasonably priced. Also the kids meals are a great value for the amount of food and quality of what you get.

The food makes this chain worth a try, similar experience at other locations. This particular location is attached to Embassy Suites and why we ended up here. Their flat bread pizzas are a good choice, excellent for a kids meal. Their appetizers are standard bar type ones, and the quality is good. The shrimp on both of our dishes were nice and plump.

After four visits to this location, I have a few trips to this location to give me a good idea that my last experience wasn’t a “one-off”. This past Saturday night, we arrived a few minutes before our party of six. The two ladies behind host stand visibly frustrated by the exceptional crowd that evening. They took our name down on a large yellow pad of paper along with our phone number. The lady gave us an estimated wait time of 45 to 60 minutes. This is the same wait that they gave the two people in front of us that were also looking for a table for six.

We attempted to get a spot at the bar, but every seat was taken. As we walked around the bar, we realized more than half the tables in the restaurant had laminated reserved cards with a party’s name on it in dry erase marker. As we waited more than 45 minutes, most of those tables remained empty.

The party that was waiting for a table in front of us was seated within 20 minutes. Their party didn’t show up for over an hour. We continued to check in with the host stand, and it appeared that they forgot about us. Imagine that by using a piece of paper to write down our phone numbers?

We ended up waiting over two hours before we decided to leave. Not once did they reach out to try to find us a table even after we brought it to their attention that they forgot about us.

I’ve visited Bar Louie’s across the country. They are a fun place to visit and grab some food. However, this location is managed like a hotel restaurant. Untrained staff and apathetic management give this restaurant little chance of success. Service has always been one star no matter when I’ve been here. With as busy as this place was on Saturday why are they accepting reservations and keeping tables empty, at prime times, for over 40 minutes? Why are incomplete parties given tables when you have other complete groups standing around without a seat?

There are lots of good restaurants and bars in Round Rock. This is not one of them. It’s a shame, because this could be one of the better options in town with just the right people at the helm.

Ordered the New Orleans shrimp and chicken pasta. It was bad. One bite told me everything I needed to know—this plate had zero business leaving the kitchen. No excuses.

Tried to flag the server. Twenty minutes of nothing. When she finally showed up, the food was cold. Asked for cayenne to salvage it. They didn’t even have any. A Cajun dish playing cosplay.

My wife’s chicken sandwich wasn’t any better. Same laziness, different plate.

To finish strong, when we told the waitress we had been waiting, food was cold and just wanted boxes, she included an eye roll.

Won’t be back. Ever. The bar seemed nice. The Karaoke was awful.

This place is definitely a hidden gem and quickly starting to become one of favorite places to frequent. I typically go during happy hour which has amazing specials and food options. The drinks are great, good is great, the service is dependent on the person you get. My very first visit left a little to be desired with service because the server barely spoke. She came to the table and just stared at me as if I knew what she was thinking. When she did talk, I couldn’t hear her over the music which was not loud at all. Since that visit, I’ve had some amazing service. I’m glad I didn’t write them off after one time because they are definitely a favorite.

This place was ⭐️AMAZING⭐️!!!
The mustard grilled burger with special Louie sauce was a taste explosion, especially with a fried egg added. The Royal Red Sangria was so tasty!
Give this hotel bar a try!
