My first visit to The Port restaurant was amazing!!!
The food was generous, very tasty, reasonably priced, and a wonderful view of the lake!
I had the fried chicken special, very light crispy batter, with a lot of flavor!
The crab cakes appetizers were beyond perfect! The sauce for them was so good you could put it on any thing!! A rusty car with that sauce, would taste great.
The service was friendly, impressive, and very prompt!
I would very highly recommend treating yourself to a visit!

We stayed here for our back home reception and we really enjoyed it. Clean room, great view out of the back with the lake. Friendly, accommodating staff. Overall it was excellent.
We also ate here one night and had too many drinks. Pictured are the desserts we got and a shot of the lake from our balcony.

Absolutely fiyah!
The Port. Mike and entire staff killed it tonight. From Crab cakes to Calamari. Bread, Prime Rib and Italian Wedding Cake were just AAA+.
If you haven’t tried you should. If you came and were disappointed in the past. Leave that in the past because you’re missing out!

Ok, here’s the deal.. I typically can’t stand the opinionated, pretentious people that have the audacity to give anything a 1 star review. So let me lead with, I have high hopes for a return visit here. As for our experience tonight… Well.. The server told us they are in a transition stage rn w a new chef or ownership or something.. Thus, the menu was very limited. We called 3 hours early to make a reservation and when we arrived they had our name, but no seat saved. They sat us near a window viewing the lake so I guess that kinda worked out. (Lake view is gorgeous btw) Back to limited menu.. No appetizers at all, wife had had salmon something or other which was delicious. She never got her salad that was supposed to arrive before the main course. I had a ribeye w rice. Ribeye was about a 5 out of 10. A lil overcooked and bland. Dessert menu.. ehh, average at best. Pretty pricey, $150 for 2 people. Like I said before, I think it will be better when we return and they are settled back in. Good live band at dusk waiting for 4th of July fireworks. Been to much worse.

This is one of the worst hotels that I have ever experienced. The beds are uncomfortable, the room smelled musty, the carpets and flooring is worn, and we were locked out of our room many times after given multiple fresh keys that were never placed by our phone or credit card. No one was ever at the desk and one night we were locked out of our room and had to stay in another families room. The front desk had staff the next morning that arrived at 9 am. Beautiful lake but don’t stay here.

Very warm welcome. Beautiful view from the rooms. Clean room. Balcony with room to take in the lake. Food from restaurant was fresh and delicious. Served by very nice staff. Price was fair enough.

We ordered food to go tonight, our first experience at the port in a couple of years. We had a really unfortunate experience with our order. After placing the order, we showed up to pick it up, only to find out it hadn’t even been put in. At this time, the individual told the hostess “if the system doesn’t work you have to tell me right away otherwise guests will show up and have to wait”, and then she left without acknowledging me. This is one example of what really contributed to a poor experience, the lack of communication and customer service— no one on staff ever gave me an update or explained what was going on after that until I asked.
The individual who updated us said “it’s her first night” about the hostess and the other individual who brought out the food said “it’s our first night open”, as excuses. When we finally received our food, the order was incorrect. Overall, it felt like poor organization and a lack of care for the customer experience. Hoping this was just an off day, but based on this experience, the outcome could have been much different with proper customer care!

Gave this 1 star because there is not an option for less. Our key stopped working after the front desk standard hours.. Repeated calls to the number to call for after hours assistance were unanswered and messages unreturned. Our car keys were in the room so we really had no other choice than to sleep in the lobby. Staff did not show up until 9am the next morning. Totally unprofessional business. Needless to say I will never stay here again!!!!

Wonderful wait staff! Ate on the deck with a wonderful view. Chef even came out to check on our group’s food.
