Food is not worth the the $28. it cost to take my daughters to lunch. 3 chicken bowls (barely any chicken) 1shrimp bowl with 5 shrimp, then when leaving asked to order filet and shrimp the price was about $18. + tip. Walked to the car looked at the plate only to find 6 shrimp and what I’m guessing to be beef tip. My daughters took the plate back in and the woman who claimed to own the place said there was nothing she could do because it’s not in their policy. No refunds she said. It’s very upsetting to expect to eat delicious food for your money only to get average tasting. Obviously their policy has no reflection on their poor manners either. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s worth the gas and time to pass this place up…

New to area, usually u look at restaurants reviews before I tried them. The 1st time I don’t because, I thought I can trust in them….it reminds me again why I HAVE to go back to the reviews. I had to be at work by noon. I arrived @11 & oh girl, didn’t even open till 11:05. They posted they had a sale steak & shrimp hibachi for $8.99. I asked for the special. Then, oh girl tells me the rice is not done. “HELLO”!!!, you business is open you suppose to have your cheap done & ready to sale. So, she started to cook…15-20 minutes later tells me there is no shrimp & will give me jumbo shrimp.took another 10-15 minutes before she actually finished. I’m thinking BIG shrimp but, the 3 shrimp was only maybe consider a medium if you can considered it. The steak you had to look under a magnifying glass cause it was that small. Out of all the hibachi places I been so—far, was the smallest portion ever. Due to she didn’t have rice done she charged me an extra dollar for the noodles & tax. It came to $11.00 not including drink. Talk about an expensive lunch for a little portion lunch. Which at the end IT MADE ME SICK. “”WOULDN’T SUGGEST TO GO THERE “!!!!

Biggest regret ever! As a small business owner I tend to try new spots to eat when I travel. I love hibachi food but there’s a huge problem when the outside looks cleaner than the inside of a restaurant. Too bad I’ve already paid. The rice was cold and from I don’t know how many days ago. The fountain drinks are flat and you can tell they haven’t been switch. Your fountain machine leaking water onto the floor. The floors and tables dirty and sticky. And the men’s bathroom looks disgusting. I came come up with 100 things wrong in that place. I didn’t finish my food and just left. Lost my appetite. I should have ate at Firehouse Subs. I can’t imagine that guy from Bar Rescue going into this place. He would go bananas.

It’s literally 8:46pm and this heifer is talking about they closed. I see why they have a 2 star rating. I really hate this place the food is crappy, the rice is crunchy and lacks taste. The only reason why I was coming here is because my roommate wanted Hibachi tonight and I wasn’t going to be able to make it to Jo hibachi and downtown Conway. I can’t waite until this location goes out of business so someone who has a better product to offer the community can take over the lease. I hope this one star lowers the average below 2….

Would give this a 0 if I could. Bought two meals for my gf and I. Chick at the counter rang it in wrong, and I didn’t catch it until after I gave her my card. Total was 24.84, and it was supposed to be 19.33. After ringing it up again, she refunded me 5 dollars, which I looked at her sideways for a minute. I proceeded to tell her it should be 5.51 for the refund, and she just simply says that she rounded. Asked her if she could at least round in my favor, considering it’s her mistake. Then proceeds to be a smart ass about it, asks me if I want another refund on my card for the change. Just very unprofessional. Haven’t even received my food yet and I can tell you I’ll never be back. This place is filthy and DHEC should stop by and see it. No way they should have an A hanging up on their door.

Cashier was friendly but spent $15 at lunch between filet special, extra sauce and tip only to come home to fingers not only did they not give me filet cooked medium, they gave me very little meat that was overcooked and inferior by far to most hibachi steak! I paid for filet mignon and got over cooked garbage steak and very little of it! The rice wasn’t right and I’ve never been more disappointed in a hibachi place. Always went to Firehouse Subs next door and decided to try them out. I don’t even want to eat my $15 lunch after two bites ! Never, ever again. If I could give zero stars I would!

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
After waiting half an hour in an empty restaurant at a sticky table, for my combo dinner and sushi rol, l get home to find out that not all the food is fully cooked. I also found that there were onions in my meal, after I asked the cashier to make sure there were no onions because I’m allergic. When I called, the same cashier (Shawna) told me that there were no managers and that she would not be taking my name and number and even if she did they were not going to call me back. She said that she didn’t hear me say I was allergic and that if I really was I would have said something, therefore I was not allergic. She told me that Nick Carpio owned the place and that I could feel free to look up his personal number or address and do what I have to do. She said that she had already apologized and there’s nothing that could be done about it and hung up on me.

1st impression: 50/50 chance this is a cover business for some kind of illicit business…just a hunch, but I digress, let’s get to the dirty, oh so dirty details.
Sitting in here right now, and I’m borderline scared. Restroom out of order (fine, it happens), but based on the obviously informal environment I ask the sole restaurant “attendant” if there is any sink I can use to just quickly wash my hands and she goes “mmm uhhh uhhh here” and hands me an old, crusty sanitizer bottle with maybe a millimeter left at the bottom, and she instructs me to screw open the bottle and squeeze the last bit onto my hands…yes, thanks for the tip..and also, little to no chance she herself has watched her hands while at work today.
Okay, then I get my food at 1:55 pm but then she tells me she is on break at 2:00 pm…I say “well should I just eat fast?” To which she replies “nah it’s fine, you can just chill in here”…so I’ll have the whole restaurant to myself, yay! Place is super grungy, filth everywhere, and “no refunds after food comes out” signs are EVERYWHERE. Anyways…
She walks towards me with a box and says “you wanted sesame chicken, huh?”…”yup” I say. She then walks back to the kitchen and comes back to me, I open the box and am stared in the face by what is obviously tempura-fried chicken with a few shakes of sesame seeds on it. Improvised sesame tempura chicken, not what I ordered but I can deal. She had asked earlier if I wanted “the sauce” on my chicken, to which I had replied yes…instead chicken comes out dry, and she hands me a pitcher of whitish-yellow viscous sauce that tastes a little too salty for comfort…
In the middle of this review after I’ve had a few bites of food and figured “hey, despite all this, it’s somewhat edible, 2 stars!”, and that would have been that…but then the restaurant lady and her random friend appear from the back, and the attendant says “ugh I have to pee” (reminder, no restrooms) really loudly and then the friend laughs and heads towards the door. Attendant then says loudly “yeah girl I’m leaving as soon as he [me] leaves”, then she “accidentally” turns off the lights and says “oh sorry, you don’t have to rush…”. That was the last straw. I grabbed my barely edible, potentially body fluid-covered food and left. Please pour one out for me if this food kills me.

I know when ibwas dating the manager slash owner and she brought me home food every nite there wasn’t one time that she cooked an it wasn’t amazing. And we’re not together now so trust me I wouldn’t hold bak the truth if the truth were it was bad. I can’t speak for every elses cooking but she personally learned from over 10 years cooking with her father an full philipino born in the phillipines chef. N HER FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. This place is worthless, my crew and i come to eat and my buddy had to go to the restroom. When he did she got mad and slams doors. Then she puts a sign up witch I will post in pics then says they out of shrimp, noodles, sringrolls, and sushi. She has a serious attitude problem, and very disrespectful to customers…….
