4.1.24 @ 1pm – I dined in with two kids and another adult. I first ate here over 20 years ago! It’s still open and serving delicious food with a smile today. We all had breakfast 4/1/24. I ordered steak and eggs, kids had pancakes, mother had french toast. There were lots of sides to share like hash browns, toast, eggs, and even biscuits (waitress was nice enough to throw in the biscuits). The food was so tasty. My steak was moist, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everyone has compliments to the chef, waitress, cashier, and kind patrons as well. Great atmosphere. Money well spent plus they honor veterans. Thank you!

Went through and ordered three side orders of bacon well done. Get raw bacon add some to cook it more. they throw it in the deep fryer. Because we didn’t want to wait in line again for another 30 minutes we called spoke to someone. She said she would write our name in the book for replacement. Go up there to get the replacement. And they have no record of it. Love wasting money on food that is not cooked..

Their cones are rated 2 on ten scale. Sauce must have been a week old. Dogs were cooked and reheated. (Jan 10th.) Even asked them if they were fresh….they said yes. Guess I’ll go elsewhere. This is 3 times in 3 months. I’m pissed. Drove 16 mile round trip for that?

Stopped in for lunch. I ordered a patty melt and onion rings and my husband ordered country fried steak and mashed potatoes. Everything came out hot and fresh. The food was delicious. I was afraid it might be greasy but it wasn’t. The server was friendly and stayed on top of everything.

Absolutely terrible! First and last time trying this place. I ordered a patty melt with chili fries. Patty melt cold, chili cheese fries look dead. Worst place I’ve ever eaten! Don’t waste your money!

It was our first time eating here at Gillies’s Coney Island, even though we decided just pulled through the drive through Corinna, the woman who took our order, was very sweet and accommodating. The kitchen also smelled absolutely amazing as we drove up the the window to pay for our food. We will back, probably this week to be honest!!

A really great and unique Coney Island serving the Flint area.
We stopped for dinner on the way home from up north. The food is pretty typical coney food but they have a few things that are especially good. Their french fries, brown gravy, and chilli are all superb.
The staff are also super friendly and attentive.
The place has great decoration on the outside and decent on the inside.
Over all we really like this for a Coney island.
