The food was nice and tasty but…, there might be too much fish sauce making us very thirsty after having it. Drank tons of water afterwards. It was a cold and rainy day, sitting there eating was not very nice though.

Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant! Our family loves Vietnamese food and this is the hidden germ in New plymouth.
Summer roll was very fresh and tasty. Beef Pho is also great with perfect soup and noddle. Our kids love the BahMi. Will definitely come back when be next visit New plymouth.

The crispy pork belly was good but expected the portion size to be a bit more.

Nice enough Viet food tho not great. Pho was a little average. Too many noodles, ok stock, meat cut too think and no range of chilli sauce. My wife had Bahn Mi which was also okay but not great.Dumplings were tasty. Overall yeah? 3 is pretty fair indication.

Pretty cool place and atmosphere. The customer service was great and the wait was very minimal. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
I got the pork belly with coconut rice and coleslaw. The portion size was pretty average for the price to be honest and the pork belly tasted like maybe it had been cooked in really old oil? I also got a fried rice which was pretty mediocre.

Tasty Banh mi and tofu salad. Fresh spring rolls were a bit boring though.
Staff is super friendly, would definitely come again when in town. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the noodle soups and the fried spring rolls. I thought the portion sizes were good and reasonably priced. Seating/ service is basic but it’s a food truck setting so to be expected. Highly recommend for the tasty food. Ps the homemade chilli sauce (help yourself) is super spicy.

Had lunch here today, there was a bit of a mix up with my order, but the staff sorted it out super quickly and couldn’t have been nicer. Great service and the crispy pork belly was absolutely delicious. Totally worth a visit

It is our ritual to visit Viet Nom Nom every week after Karate. Fried squid and Boba tea. We are always met with a friendly welcome and provided delicious food, the bao buns are yummy and fresh, and you can’t really go wrong with a name like that. We love you Viet Nom Nom.

Perfect comfort food for rainy weather. Viet Nom Nom is in this containerised Vietnamese restaurant that’s styled somewhat like south east Asia’s street setting where eating in the alleyway – the container is pretty cool.
We ordered the Beef Pho with added meatballs, self assembled the dipping sauce mixing hoisin and their homemade chilli together. The broth was warm clear and umami which is wicked with the fresh bean sprouts(most Main Street pho places don’t give you bean sprouts anymore). Overall definitely recommended, comforting food, good vibe check super nom nom !
