Classic diner/coffee shop atmosphere with friendly and attentive service.
I ordered standard breakfast eggs, hash brown, pork sausage, and sourdough toast. All cooked exactly how I ordered, not greasy, and tasty. They give you butter packets to add to your toast. Hard to find these sweet classic diner type restaurants with counter seating option. You can also see chefs cooking your food.Very nice experience with food and people.

Made a stop up north and came across this breakfast spot. The food is ok but the service was great. Really fun and inviting staff.

Clean and bright coffee shop located in the Crystal Springs shopping plaza of San Mateo. Very large menu, full of classic breakfast and brunch items to choose from, and the crepes are free! Efficient and friendly staff. Large free parking lot is shared with Safeway and several other restaurants, so it can get kind of busy.

It’s a traditional coffee shop. Not the modern one that the younger generations would prefer with their cappuccinos or lattes. This one probably is probably fitted for a 70-80s type. This one probably would be preferred by older generations more.
We ordered a Berry Waffle, Neal’s Cheese Burger and an iced vanilla coffee. As I said, they don’t have those Italian coffee like cappuccino or latte or cold brews, they only have regular coffee, with an extra vanilla flavor if you don’t want it black.
The waffle smelled very nice, but the strawberry and blueberry were less fresh, especially the blueberry. The cheese burger was decent though.

Excellent cafe menu. Anything you order at this restaurant like yhe teriyaki grill chicken sandwich and the steak dinners where off the hook. Always my first stop before heading to half moon bay. Also the service was very comforting and helpful.

Nice looking place and the Monte Cristo was good. The beef dip however was skimpy and some kind of cheap lunch meat. It had a weird tooth. My fries were not cooked and raw in the middle. Would I go back? Prob not. Coffee was thin and tasted cheap. Lots of seniors enjoying Sunday morning.

Very comfortable diner with lots of breakfast options and for lunch, they have burgers, salads, sandwiches and more. My turkey melt sandwich was decent with a buttered and grilled sandwich bread. The fries were McDonalds style: thin and crispy. Very strong. Dining room is open and spacious with a community vibe. It’s easy to overhear other conversations, for good or bad. Service is so friendly.

I discovered this nice stop on the drive down 280 and enjoyed a solid, but basic, breakfast. There was lots of seating (a bit too much for the size of the space), the staff was friendly, and prices were a bit higher than the menus online. My breakfast was good and my tea was strong, I’ll be back.

Ordered fish tacos with coleslaw slaw, and everything was delicious from the salmon tacos to the cole slaw with very little cream just the way I love cole slaw to taste.

Ok this is one of those places you discover and wonder how in the blazes is this place so close to me and I never knew it was there? Absolutely, 100% great breakfast place. Had the egg scramble with pancakes and was shocked at how good it was.
