Family and I were visiting the Smokey The Bear museum and wanted something to eat. So we gave Oso and chance and they did not let us down. We asked our waitress for a few recommendations and she did not miss. The egg rolls were amazing but the best recommendations was their award winning hamburger. As a Texas boy who loves his burgers I was skeptical but that went away after the first bite. Wifey order chicken quesadilla not for any other reason than we had a long ride back to Ruidoso. Trust me, this place is worth the money.

Ummm….wow. When my friends from Texas come visit, they always ask me what I recommend for restaurants. I usually tell them to eat at their Air BNB. No more. Oso Grill will be my new recommendation. Amazing! The Oso Tacos were SOOOOO good. 100% recommend. My daughter got the BLT. It was a BLT. Eh. My sister got the Green Chili Chicken Enchilada Casserole. Wow! Tastes like home. If you don’t try Oso Grill, you are missing out. ❤️

Went to OSO Grill for dinner and we were not disappointed! I had their award winning Green Chili Cheeseburger with coleslaw. This was one of the best burgers I have had in years. It is a perfect blend of fabulous flavors!! My wife had the Ruben sandwich with fries one of her favorites. She said this one was right up there with her all time favorites. Service was spectacular with the staff moving around the restaurant at lightning speed while still taking care of our table like we were the only table!! I guarantee you can’t go wrong stopping at Oso Grill and sampleing their menu!!10/10

This place was very packed when we came there, could be because of our big family though It’s a very Southern style venue. They got some reward for best cheeseburger with famous New Mexico green chili, which is cool, but I am not interested in burgers, you know Of course it was hard to find vegetarian food. So I had fried green chili stripes. And these stripes tasted like New Mexico green chili finally! It was good, but overloaded with oil, just like loaded fried potatoes. Not my thing. And they need to do some maintaining and cleaning works on their toilets.

The fried pickles, fried green chilis, loaded potato, salad, patty melt, quesadillas, and salsa were all amazing and the prices are all fair. Everything we had I would order again.

The Bearded Beast
This was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely amazing, my wife and I didn’t speak the whole time because it was so good. The owners came and checked on us regularly. The staff was super friendly. And the food was amazing. The brisket and green chile eggrolls we’re perfect and my wife had the green chile CFS and I had their green chile cheeseburger. We’re going back soon and will continue to every chance we get.

We stopped in for an early supper and could barely find a table. When a restaurant is full in the late afternoon – you know the food is bound to be good. We tried the brisket egg rolls. I liked them but not everyone in our group did. The fried catfish and coleslaw were very good, Chicken fried steak large and filling, Oso Burrito was good but I removed the potato chips. Tea was very good.
Staff were attentive, order prompt and locals friendly.
