We would go back. It was a nice place. We got there when the servers were just starting. After 6pm on Saturday it gets busy. They have outdoor seats which is nice. The tacos were good. I’ve had better. The chocolate cake and ice was good. It was my birthday the day we went. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The music was in English which I liked. I don’t speak Spanish. The server was nice but she was setting the tables. Overall very nice place.

Chela’s is such a great spot! The tacos were really tasty yes, they’re on the smaller side, but honestly, for $2 you can’t complain . The margaritas were super good, and Carlitos, our server, gave excellent service. I went on a Tuesday, but the place had the energy of a Friday night, which made it even more fun. Definitely will be back!

I visited Chela’s Miami for lunch with a fellow employee who recommended the spot, and overall it was a solid choice. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a midday break. I ordered the Caribana Tuna Poke Bowl and opted to substitute the rice for mixed greens—definitely a smart move. The tuna was fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and the greens added a refreshing twist.
Service was a bit on the slower side, which I suspect may have been due to being slightly understaffed during the lunch rush. That said, the staff were friendly and attentive once they got to us, and the food made up for the wait.
Chela’s offers a good mix of vibrant flavors and casual vibes. I’d return again, especially to explore more of their menu. Worth a visit if you’re in the Miami Lakes area and craving something fresh and satisfying.

The place is super cheerful and very well taken care of. I loved the food, and the drinks were absolutely divine. Carlitos took care of us and he was incredibly kind and attentive—he treated us so nicely. Try to ask for him whenever you can ❤️

I’ve been to Chelas several times for Despecho Night, and it’s always an amazing time! The vibe is truly unmatched and perfect for a night out with your girlfriends. They also have great drink specials on those nights. Highly recommend, such a fun spot!

I’ve been at this location multiple times for happy hour. Super cute Mexican bar and restaurant in Miami lakes. I came in for the first time for happy hour on a Thursday and it was great. I made a reservation online so there was no wait time. Our server was good and pleasant.

When we came in we were given the regular menu and the happy hour was never mentioned, however they do have a QR code on the table with all the menus and specials.
We had the guac and chips, the pork tacos and the quesadillas. Everything we had was pretty good for a quick meal. Same goes for the drinks. We had tequila shots, margaritas and micheladas.
Overall was a nice spot for a quick bite and drinks with friends. I know usually so the raw oyster as they are 99c during happy hour.

A group of friends and I came here for happy hour, and it was great. We were immediately seated, and they had amazing happy hour deals. We were there for hours and didn’t feel rushed once. We did have to remind the server to bring extra plates a few times, but to be fair, the restaurant was full. The food was delicious, and they had great deals. We want to go back, especially for salsa night.
