This spot is the best burger spot right off of I-65 if you’re just traveling through North Alabama and aren’t going into downtown Athens. They have a lot of good options and good side and desert options. I always get their done burger since it’s always great.

If you want downhome country cooking.. this is a good place to start. Great for travelers as it’s right next to the highway. She has a lot of regulars so that also tells you something, us being one of them!
Ms. Pam and her crew are awesome and my kids really enjoy the chocolate-gravy & bis. along with the white-gravy & bis. I like to venture out from time to time from the special she posts daily for breakfast. This dish, although, I cannot remember the name of it accurately it was like a “hash-brown bowl” so to speak. Yum!

A real diamond in rough off I65. Definitely stop and enjoy great food. Crispy fries!! We saw everyone eating the taco salad. Burgers were great and I enjoyed the philly steak sandwich.

Wonderful locally owned spot near the highway. Served by momma D herself. Chicken tenders and spicy chicken club were delicious. Fries and hand pie were excellent as well. Worth a stop when traveling.
