I was really disappointed with our experience yesterday. I was excited to take my husband for his first time to The Holy Grail and had told him about the great food and atmosphere. But it was nothing like that; the place was empty. The waitress said the cook hadn’t gone grocery shopping, so some items weren’t available. The menu was now smaller and had fewer options. My husband ordered the pasta, but had to send it back because it was flavorless. I had a salad that was missing the beets. We both left still hungry and ended up getting a burger afterward. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

It is like a smaller version of Mesa Grill, I would recommend this better. Their seafood is excellent, serving size is Italian portion, so u won’t receive a big plate of food. Lots of seafood options, staff r very polite and friendly, know the menu very well. Great spot for a romantic date. Booking is highly recommended

This new location is amazing! The menu has a lot of options, the food is delicious, the service incredible and they have live music on Fridays ! I love it, definitely will be back soon, I recommend the steak bites appetizer even tho I did not take a picture of, its mouth watering, the flat bread and rib eye were perfect and the drinks OMG…they have real bartenders here! we had a great time.

Update: So they asked us to give them another shot. It started off ok with the French Onion soup. A lot of depth and flavor, could have used more cheese. However, the fact that the “chef” served us raw chicken in a restaurant that had only 2 bar guest and our one table is unacceptable and an obvious lack of culinary education. Raw chicken is NEVER ok! The server handled the situation with grace, but no manager or “chef” came to address the fact they served us raw chicken. I am glad my husband cut into it before eating or especially before I ate from his plate, seeming as I am 6 months pregnant. Nail in their coffin for us, will not return and do not recommend.

Very disappointed if I could give zero stars I would! Took over an hour and a half to get appetizers and we were the only ones there!! Steaks were over cooked! No flavor!! Calamari bland!!! Server mentioned that there was only one cook and had to call a second cook but he never showed up but if we were the only ones there why do you need 2 cooks for 4 people! Music and ambience were great but will not be returning!

Came here for new years for the first time I absolutely loved it ! Staff was super nice and attentive, I sat at the bar with my friends & they had nothing but a good time , we didn’t order food because kitchen was closed but they had small courses of snacks coming all night my favorite was the mushroom tarts and fried asparagus including the free champagne bottle at the end & even though we didn’t stay till the end of the night it was such a great experience . I want to thank the bartender she was absolutely amazing I’m definitely coming back soon to try the menu

My wife and I went to the Holy Grail for a late lunch today after recommendations from people on a local Facebook group. This was our experience:
Walked in and three people were at the bar the waitress, and two other gentlemen (one who later identified himeself as the owner/chef) and one who I can only assuem was associated with the establishment also. I noticed a look on their faces as we walked in like “wow customers!”. As we sat looking at the menu, I looked around the empty restaurant (it was about 2:30 pm). It was clean and inviting. Pleasent music was playing softly in the background. Neither of us used the restroom so I cannot offer a comment about them.
My wife and I both ordered from the lunch speical: I had the French Onion Soup, Chicken Carbaonara and my wife ordered the Fish and Chips. Both meals were to include cheesecake for desert. Price for our meals were $26.00 each.
The French Onion Soup took a little bit to arrive at the table. It was a good size portion but cheese was almost non-existant (see attached pitcure). The only flavor we could taste was salt. We did not finish the soups.
Our main course arrived. The Fish and Chips did not look appetizing and upon first bite my wife said the fish tasted fishy. The chichen in my Chicken Carbaonara was hard and cold. The sauce was too creamy and had a very unplesent taste.
The owner/chef came to the table to check on us asking how the food was. I explained to him what I mentioned above and he just walked away. He returened shortly with two to-go boxes and we politely declined. He did kindly comp our meals with apoligies. We did not stay for desert.
I would not recommend Holy Grail based upom my experience. If you decide to try, may your expreience be a memorable one.

Not a fan of posting negative comments but wow…empty drinks for more than 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Server would not show up to the table, had to let him know when I got up to assist us. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. Food is good though. Please stop having your customers go through this type of service. Unfortunately, will not be coming back soon.

Came in to get a panini sandwich but they had told us that they removed it from the menu a few months ago, which is fine so I looked at the menu and decided to get the fish and chips and the chicken pasta, the fish and chips were very bland and the fish was only 3 small squared pieces with no flavor and the breading was falling off after just biting it once, the fries were bland as well no salt or anything and they looked and felt a little undercooked, for 18 dollars it’s horrible, the chicken pasta was better the pasta had a good flavor, but felt a bit oily, but the chicken itself had a weird taste. Overall the food was very bland and not worth the price at all wouldn’t even pay 5 dollars for any of it besides the pasta itself without the chicken. Too over priced in my opinion for bland food that is too oily and not enjoyable.

I was driving around the west side of El Paso looking for a place to get out of the heat and have a drink, when I came a cross “The Holy Grail”. Upon walking in the door I was immediately surprised with how clean, comfortable, well decorated, and perfect the atmosphere was.
It’s a great upscale bistro and bar atmosphere with unique menu and upscale design that still able to appeal to the casual crowd. The bar area suprised me with its decore and how perfectly lit it was, including the beautiful back lit quarts counter tops.
The Holy Grail has a vast menu which includes meat and cheese boards, salad, flatbread, seafood, pasta, steak, and sandwiches. They also have a wide selection of wine, whiskey, beer, and hand crafted cocktails. During my visit I tried the seared scallops and a couple glasses of whiskey which were amazing. I plan to sample more food on my next visit.
I highly recommend “The Holy Grail” to anyone looking for a upscale eatery with great atmosphere offering a variety of food and wine options. This is a perfect place to bring a date or relax and enjoy good cuisine after work. Some menu items are a little on the pricey side but the atmosphere and excellent service balances it out. The bartender was very personable and willing to provide recomendations which made the experience even better. I will definitely be back to try more.
