This place is a great stop for walks downtown. The birthday cake ice cream is really awesome especially in smoothie form. I also really like the root beer floats. Friendly, clean, quiet, comfortable.

This is an excellent ice cream parlor. The location is convenient for pedestrians.

There are restrooms!!
The flavor selection is wide. In particular, they still have the fruit flavors many of us love where many such places have only the variations on chocolate peanuts and cookies.
The only thing that kept them from five stars is that- like most ice cream parlors – they buy their ice cream. Hudsonville is nowhere near the brand it used to be in terms of butterfat content. It’s good but not great.
Still, it’s an excellent choice, with cafe seating out front in addition to everything else.

Our big group grabbed ice cream here after an amazing lunch at Vintage Tavern and the young lady did a great job handling our group of 16’s orders. Really great ice cream and house made waffle cones.

Great ice cream. No fake stuff here. They also have snakes, Sundays, banana splits. Yummy. Nice clean ice cream store with seating inside and outside in downtown Port Huron.

Always love Elite Treats! They’ve got the best ice cream (Hudsonville) with so many options. The workers are always so sweet and the service is great. Such a good addition to Port Huron!

I recently visited Elite Treats, and I have mixed feelings about my experience.
The ice cream flavors were undeniably rich and delicious. Everyone in my group enjoyed their selections, and it was clear that a lot of effort goes into crafting these unique flavors. However, my experience with the cone was less than satisfactory. The cone tasted stale and chewy, lacking any crunch. Unfortunately, it didn’t improve over time either, remaining unappetizingly gross throughout.
Additionally, I tried their version of “Boba” Tea, which was a big disappointment. Having tasted authentic boba tea and even variations from places that don’t specialize in it, I was expecting something at least comparable. Instead, what I got was a sweet tea overloaded with syrups and bubbles, far from the delightful drink I was anticipating. It simply wasn’t worth it.
While Elite Treats excels in its ice cream flavors, there’s certainly room for improvement in other areas like their cones and boba tea. Stick w/ a cup or milkshake.
