Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I love Whataburger—it’s truly one of the best reasons I enjoy living here, and the food is always worth the stop. The staff at this location have consistently been polite, professional, and friendly, which I really appreciate. Well, I had to update from 4 stars to one, I get back to my office annd the tea is unsweet with absolutely no ice.. Unfortunately, the morning drive-thru service has been quite slow during my recent visits. I’ve had to leave without ordering before, and I had to leave again today—I can’t sit in the drive-thru all morning. I completely understand that mornings can be busy, and I don’t fault the employees at all—they’ve always handled things professionally. I’m hopeful this is something that can improve over time because I really enjoy coming here and would love to make this location part of my regular routine again.

Thank you to the front service team for greating us as we walked in. We live down the street from the 41st location of Whataburger, but drive the extra mile for the service and fresh food that they always give us a correct order through drive thru or when we stay in to eat. I would have given 5 stars on the atmosphere if the door facing the street didn’t keep opening. That’s a security issue plus the cold air kept coming in. Besides that my burger and fries were hot and fresh. Please go train the staff at 41st.

Awful. I doordash and they forgot my sauce I only got three items nd that’s including the sauce. I don’t like to be a hater but yall need to manage your dinner shift better. For how expensive it is I expect good quality food. My ckn strips tasted old and so did my burger patty. Very disappointed I haven’t had whataburger in months and the one time I try it again I’m sad now I just wanted ckn strips lol

We eat here every year during the Gun show. Its Better than Mc Donald’s or Taco Bell. It’s Fast And on the way to the Hotel room. The Food is NEVER HOT! DOES NOT MATTER WHAT FRANCHISE!!!!!!!!! SAME AS BRAUMS. Order in or take out. You All pre cook the Burger and keep them in a holding bin. It would be great to get Hot food! Especially Hot French Fries. You All are a Disappointment! But I still go because you are a Better choice than the Rest.

This is the last time stopping in Whataburger, at any location. This summer, stopped in Little Rock and it took 29 minutes to get our food, in a drive thru with 4 cars ahead and a sparse dining room.
Last night, in Tulsa, 2 people ordered ahead of us, dine in, and it was 18 minutes for 2 meals.
You can keep it. I’m out.

I’ve never had a worse experience at a fast food restaurant, we ordered and paid for our food and was asked to pull forward waited 11 minutes and a lady came and asked us what we had ordered because they lost track of our order, I gave her our receipt and waited another 10 minutes before going in to find out they still needed to drop the chicken and wait 7 minutes to cook. I finally just asked for a refund as they offered no other resolution for their mistake giving our food to someone else and forgetting about us. The managers name was Kate at store number 1042

0/10 waited in line for 35 minutes in the DRIVE THROUGH, also forgot my cinnamon roll and the food i did receive was cold and almost handed out to the wrong car multiple people in the drive through left or got out of their cars to go inside to see what was taking so long. as someone who works in the food industry this is absolutely horrible and nobody should be going to a fast food restaurant that takes as long as a dine in establishment and has the mannerisms of a high school cafeteria with multiple employees making fun of how people ordered their food and how much money people didn’t have i would strongly advise this location to find better management and staffing. unbelievable.

I was raised in Corpus Christi, the original home of Whataburger, so when it comes to eating at a restaurant anywhere outside of CC comes with some strict judgement. It’s a matter of pride as many native Texans will tell you. I came in during a lunch rush on a Monday and ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a grilled chicken salad (my only meal for the day, lol). As usual there was a little bit of a wait but it was worth it. I unwrapped my sandwich and you see what I got. Everything was fantastic including the fresh veggies both in the sandwich and salad. The fried were absolutely perfectly done, crispy not soggy or old, and salted just right. It bright right back to CC, without the humidity or seagulls.

Not many options at 2:30ish in the morning so I went here. My burger wasn’t even warm enough to melt the cheese on it. I was very disappointed. The fries were ok. I’ve only had Whataburger once before. I can’t say it ever crosses my mind when thinking burgers
