I discovered this restaurant while strolling around the marina. It is by far one of the best BBQ and Vietnamese food I’ve had in my life. Do not pass up on this hole in the wall. When we ate dinner there was only one other couple eating so service was super quick. We also have ordered take out and they took less than 15 mins to make our food. Most dishes are between $10-13. Not picture are the pork spring rolls. Try them for yourself.

Lanikai recently opened in the neighborhood and the one thing I love is Hawaiian style food, so I had to try. Usually I am disappointed by a lot of “Hawaiian” style restaurants, but this place does NOT disappoint! I’ve already been a few times and it has become a place I go to at least once a week.
In terms of price, this place is the BEST value in the neighborhood. In terms of food quality, it’s top notch! For under $15, you’ll leave this place looking for a bed or a cot or an empty corner at the Aquatic Park.
I highly recommend the Short Rib Plate and the Loco Moco (not together). The spam masubi is excellent and Banh Mi sandwiches are also great.
In terms of seating, table space can be limited, but on a nice day, grab your food to go and enjoy the views nearby!
