It was in the course of being too lazy to cook the multitude of things in my Fridge and Freezer that I somehow came across this place as it was close and I was hungry. Power of Google I guess because I was pretty sure I was looking up something else like the VA, but we all know how it cycles through where you are at and shows things. So, with no further hesitation…
Lets see here… I wasn’t quite sure where I was going as I’m not from around these parts, but through the power of Garmin I reached my destination. There isn’t really a sign so look for the building with the Green Roof. There is in fact something there! As another note, if someone is staying at Little Turtle RV Park, you can walk to this location for dinner and there is also a bar known as RCB. All are right across the street, so provided you don’t get hit by a car crossing the two lane, any plans should go as expected!
Onward toward the provisions…I intended to have Fried Mushrooms, but the supplies were low, but a Mushroom Swiss was in the cards, so I cannot complain. Probably would have only eaten a few mushrooms anyhow as we all know I have that sodium issue. So, as an alternative, I settled for Chili Cheese Fries and Fried Pickles. Did I mention “Sodium Issue” and I seem to lack an ability to not order what is bad for me??
I’ll start with the Chili Cheese Fries…
I found them to be made of fresh potatoes which is nice versus some sort of frozen option that many establishments utilize. Deep Fried as is to be expected and the Chili wasn’t half bad. Real Cheese was used so that was also a major plus. I cannot stand the short cut of processed Cheese. The cheese melted and mixed well with the fries so, well done on that decision Cody Bobs!
Now for the burger and Fried Pickles…
It was cooked well done and uniform in size and shape. We all know I don’t like a burger well done, but as a whole, I can’t really complain much and it went well with the Fried Pickles. I do think that the next time I visit I will order some fries versus that option though. The Fried Pickles are always a hard thing to judge as everyone does it differently from size to texture, so I’m going to steer away from that.
Final Thoughts:
As a whole, I thought the place was clean, and the food was satisfactory. Not quite sure on the “Lawn Chair” thing that I sat in, but perhaps, given the umbrella that was the intention. Only the owner knows that, but I would venture to guess that might have been the goal. I rendered four stars as very rarely will I give five to anyone. That said, the customer service does however get five stars. I was served well, conversation was friendly and professional, and above all I watched this young lady handle an “Eight Top” and a “Four Top” as the only one there without losing a smile. That is a lot of stress for one person and she nailed it.
This is a place where if you’re staying at the RV park, you’ve got the bar and a place where you can get some food and great service. The menu is small, but hell, you’re drinking anyhow so who cares!!

The Fried Mushrooms are excellent and the Wesley Burger and those Onion Rings are great! Definitely try both!!

Stopped in after trying to find a place to eat on our way home to Texas from Branson. Reviews were good, so why not! The burgers were very tasty and the staff very attentive. Stayed a bit longer than we intended, but never felt out of place one bit. Thank you!!!

Burgers were absolutely amazing. The dining room was clean, but could use an update. Price was ok, about what you would expect. The only bad thing I have to say is it took more than 30 minutes to get our order, and they weren’t busy ( only 2 other tables)

Burgers were ok. Fries were a bit undercooked and most of them were too soft but some of them were almost burned. Jalapeno ranch was good. Onion rings were good but use a fork or your hands will smell like onions Ended with apple pie nachos that were pretty good but hard to eat with a fork and all the apples were at the bottom. Good friendly service. A tad overpriced for what you get but happy to have other options. Needs some signs out front so others will know it’s there.

They do have good food, But NO Soap To CLEAN THEIR HANDS IN THE RESTAURANT
The first time I stopped there they didn’t have any soap in the ladies restroom, they had about an inch in the bottle in the men’s restroom, they mixed it with water to give some for both restrooms
I stopped there last night and there was not any soap in either restroom.
I was told by the waitress that they were completely out of hand soap even in the kitchen.
My family and I cancelled our order and left

I used to go here all the time and I’ve never a had complaint until probably a month or two ago. I got my boyfriend chicken strips to go. I didn’t check because they do good any other time. I brought it home and my boyfriend is just upset because the chicken was partially raw, and his fries weren’t very good. He called and one of the waitresses was extremely rude to him and so his response were matched with hers. He left a review which seems like you guys deleted. Us ourselves work at a food industry so for them to just sweep us under the rug and act completely unprofessional just didn’t set right with us. Here’s a tip the customer is always right!
