You would drive by this place a thousand times before you would ever suspect that magic was being made inside.
It would be a mistake to do that though. This is the real deal. I’m convinced this is one of the best taquerias in Chattanooga, let alone any where else.
It was about noon on a Saturday when I stopped by, desperate for a quick taco for the long ride back to KY. It was pretty quiet, but Gabrielle & his wife were so kind and proud of his dishes that I walked out of their with a Cuban Torta, two Al Pastor tacos and two smoked lamb Birria tacos and three hot sauces.
Fresh homemade tortillas. Fresh homemade hot salsas. Wood fired meats, just like in Mexico, you can taste the old school tradition.
You want real excellent Mexican? you want the best tacos you’ve ever had? you want to convince a woman you are worth being with?

Take out served out of an old school bus in an industrial area. I had the asada, al pastor, and lengua tacos. They came with onions & cilantro and 2 types of salsa on what appeared to be handmade corn tortillas. Legit some of the best tacos I’ve had in a long time.

Great little street taco shack! They use pork belly for the carnitas, amazing. Fits the vibe also sketchy building in a sketchy old strip mall, Ha.

Ordered a burrito and wanted rice beans sour cream and everything that comes with it. Rice and beans came outside the burrito and I wasn’t given a fork. If it was just that I wouldn’t leave a review but the burrito wasn’t even wrapped correctly and it was just a mess. Cook needs some pride when preparing and presenting food.
