Lobby was visibly dirty, messy and needed swept, and wiped down. My sandwhich maker sat on her phone for about 7 minutes before she even acknowledged me at the counter.I was about to leave but she apologized and told me she was dealing with a “family emergency”..So i let it slide. The Jersey Mike on Fruitville in Sarasota are unbelievable. The people were great there. The sandwiches are fantastic and the managers are so professional !!! I’ll go there every day for different types of sandwiches and they are all delicious one Employee named Josh. Don’t come here if they are busy. Everything suffers. This did not feel like a 27 dollar sandwich. The cheese wasn’t melted. They missed a special request. And after I got there, I waited in the lobby after ordering online fifteen minutes prior, watched people wait in line, order, and get their food before mine was completed and set on the pick up rack.

Lettuce was brown and my sandwich was 1-2 slices less than every other Jersey Mike’s I’ve had. I can say the employee Gary was just rude. He didn’t respond when I asked him his name, also I asked him if he felt the brown lettuce was acceptable.

We have to have specially-prepared gluten free subs. We were taken care of promptly. The subs were made in a special area. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. They don’t even charge extra $$ for gf buns! We’ve found a new favorite place for a quick lunch!
